A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. img_0462_46063479882_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-olly-murs_9703106742_o img_0511_45389671994_o img_0647_21596926225_o img_9959_42111995300_o 2g9a0445_26246343674_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-1-the-sweet-canary-ensemble-21_9225446852_o sebastian-coe-en-gibraltar_38976656755_o james-foot-en-la-galera-de-bellas-artes-de-gibraltar_17494996908_o open-tradewise-de-ajedrez-de-gibraltar_15764245754_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions entrenamiento-conjunto-balona-san-joseph-en-la-linea-02122013-33_11213310503_o 17-febrero-2016-exposicin-gibraltar-y-la-guerra-civil-espaola-33_25062312436_o strongmen-201357_10019051556_o 17-febrero-2016-exposicin-gibraltar-y-la-guerra-civil-espaola-37_24793038270_o img_9443_42123274131_o 27-ene-17-alumnos-de-la-escuela-obispo-fitzgerald-de-gibraltar-conmemoran-el-holocausto_31742373543_o img_9652_41222375555_o The Anniversary of The Battle Of Trafalgar, An act of remembrance held within The Trafalgar Cemetery Gibraltar, Sunday 18th October 2015.VIP's included Interim Governor, Chief Minister, 2nd Sea Lord and CBF.
