A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. img_3433_34086340972_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-olly-murs_9703108078_o 17-febrero-2016-exposicin-gibraltar-y-la-guerra-civil-espaola-2_25088691765_o 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-81_29331731022_o 15-de-enero-2016-simulacro-de-rescate-con-helicpteros-merlin-mk3-en-gibraltar-15_23770226994_o strongmen-201302_10019364494_o 2g9a3955_49336690961_o Monos-en-la-ciudad-12 Alameda-10 Punta-Europa-23 2g9a2172_48706414522_o img_3954_30891445097_o img_1223_36193449813_o img_2945_43693498215_o img_9377_43969635955_o img_3044_40937838241_o img_9771_44160762904_o img_4631_37373698211_o img_8078_42790068550_o 08-may-2017-21visita-inaugural-del-crucero-celebrity-or-reflection-a-gibraltar_33895393924_o reunin-del-ministro-principal-con-susana-daz-en-sevilla_38993310015_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-120_29494981612_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354065703_o inauguracin-del-monumento-a-la-mujer-en-gibraltar_31093430340_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36770668310_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-41_30927266706_o 1_17-feb-2017-visita-a-gibraltar-del-alcalde-de-chiclana-jos-mara-romn-y-rueda-de-prensa-con-fabin-picardo_32247953141_o 2g9a4659_30827325321_o 11-november-2016-98-ceremonia-del-da-del-armisticio-en-gibraltar-6_30828743591_o 21-jun-2016-inauguracin-puente-colgante-en-la-reserva-natural-del-pen-de-gibraltar_27556200630_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_27417181635_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-91 2g9a2150_27253040596_o 2g9a0177_26951080795_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-19_9292066206_o 2015_09_14__0252_21412672542_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
