vista-area-de-las-colas-de-acceso-a-gibraltar_9458055407_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - Fabian Picardo led his GSLP/LiberalAlliance Ministers to the Convent earlier this morning where there were sworn into Government by Acting Governor Alison Macmilan. He and his team then headed to Number Six where they held their first press call as the newly formed Government following a landslide victory. colas-frontera-diciembre06_12348802223_o img_4816_41863365531_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 ii-festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar17_10382652953_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-olly-murs_9703103702_o 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival11_14277748800_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii24_21028591468_o 27-ene-17-alumnos-de-la-escuela-obispo-fitzgerald-de-gibraltar-conmemoran-el-holocausto_32513356486_o 2017-Upper-Rock-Nature-Reserve-set henry-cavill-en-la-carrera-del-350-aniversario-de-los-royal-marines-en-gibraltar-25-octubre-201428_15437731807_o 251DBF1 visita-platini-gibraltar-rock-cup-2014-30_13967075410_o strongmen-201326_10019188594_o img_4121_20921033569_o 7u3a5745_49425344708_o 2g9a3979_49336228303_o 7u3a5198_49336692321_o 46379911712424807714dd4644e836b0 Monos-en-la-ciudad-8 r3wire-varski-at-mtv-presents-gibraltar-calling-2018-day-2-by-ollie-millington-110_44163879204_o 7U3A2448 20171214_111203_39025260932_o img_5364_27453592207_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-186_38490771436_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-13_28981317203_o img_0132_40383723260_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-10_30962849125_o reunin-del-ministro-principal-con-susana-daz-en-sevilla_25021117687_o 11-november-2016-98-ceremonia-del-da-del-armisticio-en-gibraltar-58_30828717191_o img_3752_37163083835_o img_5068-copy_29192350980_o img_5106_29479629825_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_26808903394_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-3 27-abr-16-homenaje-a-los-trabajadores-de-gibraltar_26073135424_o 85-aniversario-museo-gibraltar-23072015-06_19340933664_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off a-dsc_6034_19436444675_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_23868812954_o img_2898_24621050424_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-13_21112616390_o img_8480_1_2_tonemapped_21310968282_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day68_15014872708_o 7U3A4775 Paul-Balban fabin-picardo-ministro-principal-gibraltar-06_9222243377_o
