A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_23299083466_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-metro-motel_9703119968_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions img_2602_45564830491_o MM180007 2g9a3019_49094441781_o 2g9a0285_48801427107_o sk-slovan-bratislava-europa-fc-gibraltar-09072015-10_19563739892_o visita-platini-gibraltar-rock-cup-2014-18_14153740895_o img_5724_49085935953_o 2g9a8801_48826623421_o Monos-26 Monos-en-la-ciudad-14 img_9551_24765469747_o gibraltar-regiment-1_25762548198_o wellington-front0438_39603689762_o img_1635_43726052185_o 2g9a6792_48204113356_o img_2316_44635537821_o img_9771_44160762904_o img_8689_28129712759_o cambio-de-guardia-en-gibraltar-por-boda-real_40402220170_o img_9042_26588781279_o_37651623264_o 24-04-2017-desfile-de-la-libertad-de-la-ciudad-de-los-royal-engineers-5_34113617351_o 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-36_31299666194_o img_9594_36197410725_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354044403_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-79_30846266952_o 8-noviembre-2016-premios-certamen-internacional-de-arte-de-gibraltar-1_30578381300_o a-dsc_5928_19430206242_o a-dsc_5971_19248906138_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off ceremonia-de-las-llaves-gibraltar-25092014-19_15171158110_o img_2904_25158506311_o img_2557_24723530949_o img_9090_26467730832_o img_8797_24186268260_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-51_9289125607_o gibraltar-national-day_002_9716549677_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
