turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-620_22121803173_o default Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - (Both Joe Bossano for GSLP/Libs and Kim Karnani Santos attended Line Wall Road where tensions were high at one point this morning). Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. inmaculada-fotos-23112014-05_15907669997_o img_3332_33432743093_o img_4813_41863364671_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 17-febrero-2016-exposicin-gibraltar-y-la-guerra-civil-espaola-4_25088689225_o 7u3a9413_49597579241_o default img_0743_20974178304_o img_2711_45564864051_o 2g9a3038_49093921078_o la-tv-alemana-zdf-graba-un-reportaje-en-gibraltar-michael-petch-zdf_25938054202_o university-8_39603872142_o 11-oct-2017-eurafrica-trail-28_37623774112_o lincoln-uefa-21072015-38_19913569091_o 7u3a5837_49425819901_o Cuevas-de-San-Miguel-14 Monos-24 img_2781_38737251845_o panorama-17_24765517427_o 2g9a4292_48230651531_o img_4013_30891442987_o img_4186_31960329328_o img_1186_36605138130_o img_9659_43969766685_o 7U3A2449 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-185_38547035041_o img_2367_44585495712_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-191_24674692458_o 2g9a9467_31505850674_o img_2387_26972655958_o 2g9a4717_30827321101_o img_2360_36349031843_o 2g9a7235_29797864476_o img_3731_36349112103_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_29484969391_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_29484972351_o 18-jun-2016-noche-de-la-calentita-en-gibraltar_27732674482_o 18-jun-2016-noche-de-la-calentita-en-gibraltar_27221938014_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-54_21177052932_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
