Accesibilidad a las playas de Gibraltar restauracin-cementerio-witham-14_25110018919_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. cementerio-catolico-gibraltar-03_9222237105_o restauracin-cementerio-witham-14_25110018919_o 20150911_102125000_ios_22744392225_o 20-agosto-2014-colas-de-salida-de-gibraltar15_14800938039_o cola-entrada-a-gibraltar-28072015-16_20063444846_o img_0011_43872600972_o presentacin-libro-yanitos-tllez33_12102483146_o 6-de-septiembre-2014-iii-gibraltar-music-festival13_15168096502_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions img_5304_33601839324_o regiment-freedom-of-city-0165-bw_15253259780_o 2g9a0735_48806099676_o 29-mayo-inauguracin-xvii-juegos-del-estrecho10_14125128280_o visita-platini-gibraltar-rock-cup-2014-11_14150905192_o visita-platini-gibraltar-rock-cup-2014-19_14150893532_o img_9426_27252739267_o 25-abr-2019-visita-fabin-picardo-al-ies-virgen-de-la-esperanza-de-la-lnea-11_32754311227_o 7U3A2454 img_8088_43690953715_o img_1729_30765356978_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-172_38547040931_o img_1367_36849707172_o img_3546_37604620116_o 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-37_31992468812_o gibraltar-recuerda-a-las-vctimas-de-los-ataques-de-pars_22803092378_o 2g9a5356_30872846601_o 2g9a5362_30660215730_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_28941934763_o 91592_29496685395_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_26808903004_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-8 a-dsc_5797_19248960240_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. 5-enero-2014-cabalgata-de-reyes-gibraltar-16_16034689420_o 2g9a9795_27874070145_o img_2925_24624583463_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_24201449700_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_23868804724_o gibraltar-national-day_006_9716544735_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-62_21300632845_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day05_15014642659_o Gibraltar celebrates 75 years since Evacuation nuevo-gobernador-de-gibraltar18_11312536483_o Kingston-24 cm-covid-vaccine-1_50887131158_o 7u3a1295_51682129245_o THE EARL OF WESSEX VISITS HER MAJESTY’S NAVAL BASE
