A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-237_22745326245_o turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-748_22555825120_o panormica-desde-la-parte-alta-del-pen_22713508586_o Cross border residents whose children attend local schools were caught up in the latest targetted delays by the Spanish border controls with calls of "descrimination" made by some of those waiting to cross into Spain as delays seemed to target school children crossing times. img_4850_41863360211_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-93_29360013401_o img_9829_21476805481_o 11-expo_frontera sebastian-coe-en-gibraltar_39876342331_o 2g9a9850_50032156628_o 7u3a5230_49336227498_o 7u3a5311_49336695611_o evacuation-monument-0487_27856103119_o 23-jun-2019-blogueros-espaoles-de-viajes-visitan-el-pen_48131095178_o img_3913_45106520674_o 2g9a4502_48713812328_o reunin-del-ministro-principal-con-susana-daz-en-sevilla_39182283384_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-85_38515439422_o img_9154_38333396962_o_24494938478_o CM & Franco Visit Frontier Exhibition 060619 { seq} ( Photo John Bugeja) at the JMHall 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-1_32102454396_o 15-diciembre-2016-inauguracin-de-la-restauracin-de-wellingtong-front-35_31562033671_o 2g9a5356_30872846601_o 12-de-noviembre-de-2016-visita-del-ministro-licudi-al-mein-schiff-20_30927367416_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36331777524_o 11-november-2016-98-ceremonia-del-da-del-armisticio-en-gibraltar-33_30828730931_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354096123_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_29275190890_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36978705376_o 10-may-2016-visita-inaugural-crucero-jewel-of-the-seas-12_26935101915_o img_2179_36973619436_o 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-63_21161118786_o img_5038_29481012585_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-34_21300674065_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_27417178625_o img_3543_20125269409_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 2g9a8762_51680448727_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
