A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. monos-en-la-ciudad-16_9225082554_o airport-18_39633898931_o cola-entrada-a-gibraltar-28072015-22_19468716553_o img_0511_45389671994_o ii-festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar09_10382502366_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-2-mark-eliyahu-ensemble-08_9222704789_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival34_14277950318_o img_8826_20147089721_o img_9040_20134606862_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions portaaviones-hms-queen-elizabeth-llegando-a-gibraltar-imagen-tomada-desde-uno-de-los-buques-de-apoyo-via-royal-navy-16_40133901972_o 2g9a4922_48875163052_o Gibraltar - HMS Bulwark arrives for Amphibious Landing Exercise 27-ene-17-fabin-picardo-visita-el-open-de-gibraltar-de-ajedrez-13_32513495316_o 7u3a5740_49425814116_o 2g9a3965_49336911552_o img_3472_39603001962_o img_8926_39603826862_o ragged-staff-2_27855465879_o 2g9a8364_46581736532_o img_8949_24493350028_o_24494948218_o img_1159_36861637871_o 24-04-2017-desfile-de-la-libertad-de-la-ciudad-de-los-royal-engineers-7_34113616621_o img_0472_36082667740_o img_0393_36342216841_o img_0548_36311351962_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36770641330_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-81_30661166460_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37026134211_o 18-jun-2016-noche-de-la-calentita-en-gibraltar_27222131833_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_27417188065_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-40 Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 2g9a9851_27596511480_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 2g9a2004_27205708346_o The Gibraltar Music Festival Kingston-10 Chief Rabbi of Commonwealth at Jews Gate Cemetery opening img_4350_19918791263_o 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-45_20748599032_o 7u3a1290_51681244506_o El-Real-Regimiento-de-Gibraltar-actua-de-nuevo-como-Regimiento-de-Guardia-de-la-Reina-en-Londres-14 Orgullo-Gibraltar-2022-7
