This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. restauracin-cementerio-witham-19_25477580875_o 2g9a9357_48908093006_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. 20150911_151732617_ios_22556030560_o turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-213_22557449590_o turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-482_22731485512_o el-telefrico-o-cablecar-es-la-forma-ms-cmoda-de-alcanzar-la-parte-alta-del-pen_22118256143_o colas-coches-gibraltar-febrero-2014-4_12614404513_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival21_14277940020_o 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival26_14277760389_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions img_5344_33634011173_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions 2017-HMS-Gibraltar-set img_9938_21281200969_o portaaviones-hms-queen-elizabeth-llegando-al-puerto-de-gibraltar-al-fondo-algeciras-via-moses-anahory_26293510828_o 2g9a0736_48805743973_o ii-jornada-y-clausura-xvii-juegos-del-estrecho11_14292949546_o 7u3a5180_49336226143_o 1_img_0111_29910409648_o img_7627_27855939919_o P1080629 2g9a4607_48713812683_o img_4587_48713814718_o reunin-del-ministro-principal-con-susana-daz-en-sevilla_25021126997_o img_9005_38309234176_o_26590188649_o img_4550_23521823708_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36770663330_o img_2687_24956720390_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-17_30846310952_o 12-de-noviembre-de-2016-visita-del-ministro-licudi-al-mein-schiff-46_30927343396_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_28941944073_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-77 concierto-evacuados-de-gibraltar-07092015-55bn_21246908561_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off desfile-de-la-libertad-de-la-ciudad-gibraltar09_9858836553_o Gibraltar - 9th May 2015 - Mo Anton took the first prize at the V Gibraltar Song Festival held at the Tercentennary Sports Hall in Gibraltar.Fourteen singers competed in the final from across the world following over 700 entries.
