Accesibilidad a las playas de Gibraltar 15-de-abril-2016-jardines-de-la-alameda-de-gibraltar-9_25836044814_o Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - (Commissioner of police at Town Range Polling Station as he oversees security) Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. torre-control-aeropuerto-gibraltar-_9222273639_o los-escalones-del-mediterrneo-suben-desde-la-ciudad-a-lo-ms-alto-del-pen-de-gibraltar_22118571933_o colas-de-salida-26-01-15_16191934570_o Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - Candidates from across both parties took time off for a quick lunch as they continued their walk abouts between polling station.Acting Governor Alison Macmilan was also observed visiting polling stations in the company of Presiding Officer Paul Martinez.Others involved in monitoring the progress of the voting has been Unite whose senior committee were on a walk about between polling stations. img_0569_32242280238_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival26_14277906919_o 7u3a9487_49597080288_o 2014-Endemic-2014-Flowers img_0738_21597048415_o 2g9a1138_48952341177_o 1_img_0090_42877262545_o Trafalgar-3 7u3a9566_49901122137_o P1080677 Teleferico-Parte-Alta-del-Penon-8 img_3924_45781938772_o 23-jun-2019-blogueros-espaoles-de-viajes-visitan-el-pen_48131093488_o img_4125_31960326528_o 25-abr-2019-visita-fabin-picardo-al-ies-virgen-de-la-esperanza-de-la-lnea-33_47644435582_o img_3335_40895442852_o img_9596_31008268158_o img_3344_40895441202_o img_2401-2_44585525912_o img_2373_25970933557_o img_2024_36212882203_o img_7258_34614714372_o img_0142_36311384942_o 05-mayo-17-visita-claire-moody-26_34309885672_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36978709146_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-44_29495037662_o 24-sep-2016-toma-de-posesin-de-carmelo-zammit-del-cargo-de-obispo-de-gibraltar_29876091171_o img_5083_29480881705_o 10-may-2016-visita-inaugural-crucero-jewel-of-the-seas-13_26330688633_o 10-feb-2016-celebracin-en-gibraltar-del-ao-nuevo-chino-14_24314265723_o fabin-picardo-en-la-cabalgata-de-los-reyes-magos-en-gibraltar_23578624704_o 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-66_21000539539_o 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-74_21195197961_o Chief Rabbi of Commonwealth at Jews Gate Cemetery opening a-dsc_5890_19430219862_o img_8759_24112835989_o img_8934_24480514425_o 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-48_20571237949_o img_8064_20677352233_o ceremonia-75-anos-evacuacion-gibraltar-22052015-07_17372611804_o Regimiento Real de Gibraltar 7u3a6894_51342694526_o
