This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. img_9885_43921154781_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival39_14277944388_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-2-yasmin-levy-mediterranean-andalusian-orchestra-ashkelon-35_9225504518_o 6-de-septiembre-2014-iii-gibraltar-music-festival35_15165405641_o 6-de-septiembre-2014-iii-gibraltar-music-festival40_15168383565_o 6-de-septiembre-2014-iii-gibraltar-music-festival50_14981774447_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii01_21028653408_o img_6810_35154403690_o img_9829_21476805481_o concierto-andrea-bocelli_48720545113_o 2g9a0835_48806099051_o lincoln-uefa-21072015-18_19901022972_o 2g9a0490_48801283466_o open-tradewise-de-ajedrez-de-gibraltar_16199271150_o img_9410_42123279381_o img_9437_42123274791_o 1_img_0115_42877250235_o 7u3a5773_49426045347_o img_9638_38737417245_o 2g9a8411_46634161481_o rita-ora-at-mtv-presents-gibraltar-calling-2018-day-2-by-ollie-millington-121_43072417720_o img_3044_40937838241_o 20171214_155523_24195067617_o img_8784_39910034801_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-50-aniversario-referndum-10967-9_36750961730_o_36997615752_o 2g9a5332_30873426111_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-50-aniversario-referndum-10967-11_37148808055_o_36354891993_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-43_30661182550_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-70_25326917089_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-2_30846324532_o 2g9a9486_29447206866_o 27-abr-16-homenaje-a-los-trabajadores-de-gibraltar_26586169962_o lanzamiento-de-la-campaa-gibraltar-stronger-in-europe_25784796613_o img_9247_26560106005_o visita-del-ministro-principal-a-cdiz_25918674074_o lanzamiento-de-la-campaa-gibraltar-stronger-in-europe_26114753160_o rueda-de-prensa-de-fabin-picardo-y-joseph-garca-en-bruselas_27187074176_o DEB1BC1 Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
