This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. 7u3a6882_49471765111_o_49482620853_o-1-scaled 15-de-abril-2016-jardines-de-la-alameda-de-gibraltar-6_26168070490_o 15-de-abril-2016-jardines-de-la-alameda-de-gibraltar-22_26168039170_o 20-agosto-2014-colas-de-salida-de-gibraltar18_14801018548_o colas-de-salida-26-01-15_15759360413_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-lawson_9703139958_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-1-the-sweet-canary-ensemble-25_9222672703_o 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival45_14463246224_o 10-mayo-2016-inauguracin-nueva-ala-del-museo-de-gibraltar_26868058401_o 2g9a0238_48801426287_o img_2623_44650699515_o partido-prensa-cdiz-veteranos-de-gibraltar-13_14732691056_o 2g9a0675_48806098961_o img_4280_20486536373_o img_0217_29910453478_o 7u3a5149_49336912697_o img_5820_49086445516_o alameda-gardens-16_25762480718_o 2g9a5358_48726176816_o img_5221_48919600476_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-134_24674711798_o 08-may-2017-22visita-inaugural-del-crucero-celebrity-or-reflection-a-gibraltar_33895393094_o img_9510_35361473394_o img_9880_36433410896_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-50-aniversario-referndum-10967-24_36750957240_o_36354889963_o 2g9a9219_29519585424_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354051733_o 2g9a4452_30827319821_o img_2102_36349106963_o 24-sep-2016-toma-de-posesin-de-carmelo-zammit-del-cargo-de-obispo-de-gibraltar_29959239245_o 24-sep-2016-toma-de-posesin-de-carmelo-zammit-del-cargo-de-obispo-de-gibraltar_29876086661_o img_4988_29446959436_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_26808901514_o 10-feb-2016-celebracin-en-gibraltar-del-ao-nuevo-chino-19_24914819406_o Gibraltar - 9th May 2015 - Mo Anton took the first prize at the V Gibraltar Song Festival held at the Tercentennary Sports Hall in Gibraltar.Fourteen singers competed in the final from across the world following over 700 entries.
