A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. la-nube-de-levante-es-acompaante-habitual-de-la-parte-alta-del-pen-de-gibraltar_22725718382_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival21_14277940020_o 6-de-septiembre-2014-iii-gibraltar-music-festival17_14981888208_o concierto-de-albert-hammond-7-noviembre-201410_15118348054_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii20_21216519815_o img_9066_20142633405_o regiment-freedom-of-city-0216_15253367778_o sk-slovan-bratislava-europa-fc-gibraltar-09072015-33_18948051464_o entrenamiento-conjunto-balona-san-joseph-en-la-linea1-13_11213306073_o 7u3a5773_49426045347_o 2g9a2055_49049238182_o wellington-front-0445_24765199557_o 2g9a4280_48230653436_o img_1711_36193498943_o 25-abr-2019-visita-fabin-picardo-al-ies-virgen-de-la-esperanza-de-la-lnea-20_32754310987_o img_3287_40895445072_o r3wire-varski-at-mtv-presents-gibraltar-calling-2018-day-2-by-ollie-millington-13_31011423688_o img_5406_42322450981_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354051213_o 2g9a7342_29750649021_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354070203_o 126561_29207832900_o 7-feb-2017-encuentro-entre-fabin-picardo-y-el-alcalde-de-la-lnea-juan-franco_31949827823_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-54 Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. 2g9a9757_27798184671_o 2g9a9783_27840003426_o 2g9a9868_27596508340_o 2g9a1648_27170660921_o visita-del-ministro-principal-a-cdiz_26523590345_o img_2953_25133025492_o 8-de-marzo-2016-reunin-de-fabin-picardo-con-miembros-del-psoe-01_24990425393_o img_2623_24988155492_o 2015_09_14__0188_21412853042_o GIBRALTAR NATIONAL DAY 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-34_20571201789_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-29_21308810511_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day15_15014995837_o Kingston-46 1_7U3A4525 BP200031 BP200031 El-Real-Regimiento-de-Gibraltar-actua-de-nuevo-como-Regimiento-de-Guardia-de-la-Reina-en-Londres-26
