This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. cueva-de-st-michael-gibraltar_22745675675_o 2g9a9376_48908297157_o turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-717_22730243822_o vista-area-de-las-colas-de-acceso-a-gibraltar_9460862160_o colas-frontera-2-abril-2014-infogibraltar-fotgrafo-marcos-moreno_13598473973_o img_3719_34112970991_o img_9316_42112015560_o img_9894_43872618322_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival09_14464514925_o 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival20_14277954117_o 01-mar-2016-entrega-de-premios-concurso-artistas-jvenes-de-gibraltar_24866202773_o la-galera-gustavo-bacarisas-de-gibraltar-acoge-las-obras-realizadas-durante-los-talleres-de-verano-del-servicio-de-trastornos-del-aprendizaje_24486404425_o 10-mayo-2016-inauguracin-nueva-ala-del-museo-de-gibraltar_26868056531_o hospital-de-campaa_49726813506_o img_0639_21585720012_o 7u3a6462_49454013618_o img_0690_21409275438_o The Anniversary of The Battle Of Trafalgar, An act of remembrance held within The Trafalgar Cemetery Gibraltar, Sunday 18th October 2015.VIP's included Interim Governor, Chief Minister, 2nd Sea Lord and CBF.
