This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-601_22120235184_o turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-602_22742992355_o turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-683_22555938880_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - Fabian Picardo led his GSLP/LiberalAlliance Ministers to the Convent earlier this morning where there were sworn into Government by Acting Governor Alison Macmilan. He and his team then headed to Number Six where they held their first press call as the newly formed Government following a landslide victory. gibraltar-music-festival-2013-fabian-picardo_9702997286_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-orange-peel_9699859613_o 2g9a0538_26246271154_o 2g9a0287_48801281171_o img_4112_20921044479_o img_9596_41403090594_o 7u3a5257_49336693641_o 077fab633b057f01df8113dd774ccdcb Mezquita-18 1_Teleferico-Parte-Alta-del-Penon-15 Teleferico-Parte-Alta-del-Penon-23 img_5291_48919071428_o 7U3A2450 img_1642_43726050505_o img_4555_23521822818_o img_7268_34736876056_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354049903_o img_0647_36342297601_o 05-mayo-17-visita-claire-moody-34_33659898213_o 2g9a9212_29852394390_o 1_17-feb-2017-visita-a-gibraltar-del-alcalde-de-chiclana-jos-mara-romn-y-rueda-de-prensa-con-fabin-picardo_31991159620_o inauguracin-del-monumento-a-la-mujer-en-gibraltar_31093429780_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37168291795_o 2g9a5889_30746101090_o_31001134811_o 11-de-noviembre-2016-concurso-cyber-centurion-en-gibraltar-14_30800465372_o 2g9a9299_29373774632_o 2g9a9381_29482308115_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-65 img_2858_25251901785_o img_5047_29372476972_o 2g9a2122_26635255324_o festival-internacional-de-la-cancin-de-gibraltar_17316434418_o 2015_09_14__0061_20801293864_o festival-internacional-de-la-cancin-de-gibraltar_17316620700_o 2015_09_14__0254_21236693379_o Gibraltar, 25 septiembre 2013.
