This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. 25-noviember-2014-cola-de-salida-gibraltar-12_15696733287_o img_2621_45564823681_o img_9382_43202800974_o ii-jornada-y-clausura-xvii-juegos-del-estrecho10_14316103525_o 27-ene-17-alumnos-de-la-escuela-obispo-fitzgerald-de-gibraltar-conmemoran-el-holocausto_31742372953_o gibraltar-tradewise-chess-festival_006_12193593703_o img_2692_44650711475_o 2g9a2538_49086661552_o 2g9a8819_48826777467_o american-war-memorial-7753_25762320768_o img_9636_38737419785_o 2g9a5383_48725846068_o 23-jun-2019-blogueros-espaoles-de-viajes-visitan-el-pen_48131157062_o img_5281_48919809127_o img_0221_30891444117_o img_3849_45831059501_o img_3900_45831057411_o img_9472_43969665215_o img_1472_44635118681_o img_3210_40937380191_o img_9122_26588973269_o_26590180889_o img_7239_34614697802_o 08-may-2017-18visita-inaugural-del-crucero-celebrity-or-reflection-a-gibraltar_33895399654_o 05-mayo-17-visita-claire-moody-17_34309882282_o 7-feb-2017-encuentro-entre-fabin-picardo-y-el-alcalde-de-la-lnea-juan-franco_32640325611_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37026134081_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-54_28979561854_o 2g9a6139_30999646721_o_31001138161_o 124296_29462632706_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-47 09-feb-2016-simulacro-de-incidente-en-el-aeropuerto-de-gibraltar_24821644011_o img_7856_24206820955_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off tom-lackey-acrobata-aereo-de-94-anos-en-gibraltar-10102014-11_15329586058_o img_9109_26534058536_o visita-del-ministro-principal-a-cdiz_26250775020_o img_2813_24884286029_o lanzamiento-de-la-campaa-gibraltar-stronger-in-europe_26321376721_o rueda-de-prensa-de-fabin-picardo-y-joseph-garca-en-bruselas_27187078486_o img_6375_20311865425_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-32_9289242295_o 7u3a1164_51681245591_o gibraltar-evacuation-dsc_3806_17816616490_o Gibraltar - Gibraltar Government launches its own environmental maritime section
