untitled_panorama-6_19896761350_o 21-agosto-2014-colas-de-entrada-y-salida-de-gibraltar19_14986635161_o Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - (Commissioner of police at Town Range Polling Station as he oversees security) Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. img_9339_43202804384_o 2g9a0511_26578905920_o img_0562_45389676644_o img_4161_20920976629_o 2g9a9524_50032626991_o cruise-liners-6_39603807432_o img_1919_39604045112_o evacuation-monument-0485_27856103789_o 2g9a0596_48919066938_o 2g9a5914_48204606476_o img_4007-1_44014411210_o img_4090_45831073481_o img_4147_45831076331_o dscf7917_42790067220_o img_9276_29944486347_o img_9200_38333613672_o_24494935938_o img_8132_30729847398_o img_8858_37650967344_o img_2309_43916529934_o img_4060_37023368141_o img_2387_26972655958_o 1_17-feb-2017-visita-a-gibraltar-del-alcalde-de-chiclana-jos-mara-romn-y-rueda-de-prensa-con-fabin-picardo_32247951551_o 23-feb-2018-encuentro-entre-fabin-picardo-e-izquierda-unida-9_38627528890_o untitled_panorama1_36326678104_o cm2_35393033633_o 2g9a5862_31077419606_o_31114930505_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36331781514_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_28941930763_o 108337_29207862560_o img_5089_29191050250_o img_5206_29190541150_o 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-87_21000520629_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off a-dsc_0254_19249081810_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off simulacro-accidente-aereo-en-gibraltar-03122014-20_15943923715_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 29-mayo-inauguracin-xvii-juegos-del-estrecho16_14125069468_o flashmob-sunborn-gibraltar-1411201426_15628013958_o visita-del-ministro-principal-a-cdiz_26431300792_o img_8989_24373422262_o GIBRALTAR NATIONAL DAY gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_24201463920_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day68_15014872708_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
