Subject: Spanish failure to submit monthly reports regarding Gibraltar
What action does the Commission propose to take against Spain following its failure to submit monthly reports describing the risks, actions and results of the situation at its land frontier with Gibraltar, as requested by the Commission in its letter of 30 July 2014?

Upon request from the Commission, the Spanish authorities have submitted on 20 February the reports on the checks carried out as well as the number of seizure, administrative offences or crimes related to tobacco smuggling. These reports cover the period May — December 2014.
The Commission is continuing the dialogue with Spanish authorities in order to ensure that the relevant data and reports are being timely submitted.
