This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. img_4813_41863364671_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-publico-y-ambiente_9699818209_o img_0456_46063481472_o festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar-25102014-33_15444324099_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii24_21028591468_o img_7563_35347380300_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-16_29439877675_o 2g9a8783_48826624131_o 15-de-enero-2016-simulacro-de-rescate-con-helicpteros-merlin-mk3-en-gibraltar-06_24398436285_o 659-4-bentley-uk-rally-1029_48826285323_o 2g9a0326_48801281811_o Trafalgar-5 2g9a0758_48805744573_o P1080642 11-oct-2017-eurafrica-trail-3_23803339048_o 23-jun-2019-blogueros-espaoles-de-viajes-visitan-el-pen_48131076236_o img_0178_41972499210_o img_4587_23521820738_o 23-jun-2019-blogueros-espaoles-de-viajes-visitan-el-pen_48131100703_o img_7321_34736987256_o img_0190_36311391842_o 11-november-2016-98-ceremonia-del-da-del-armisticio-en-gibraltar-3_30880606196_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37026134071_o 9-de-noviembre-2016-fabin-picardo-en-la-feria-internacional-del-bunkering-ibia-16_30243936153_o untitled_panorama2_29388296492_o 10-feb-2016-celebracin-en-gibraltar-del-ao-nuevo-chino-28_24573491759_o img_7821_23580018523_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home.
