A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. img_3374_34086335542_o fiesta-del-1-de-mayo-en-gibraltar-01052015-03_17157045617_o img_9005_19954634848_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii83_20595231523_o img_2599_44650702245_o 2g9a0479_26246317714_o img_9970_21441824476_o img_9406_42123280591_o 11-oct-2017-eurafrica-trail-1_23803346908_o 2g9a8809_48826246733_o gorhams-cave-8_39633659431_o ragged-staff-gate-1_27855442659_o WP_20140508_001 img_4602_48714144161_o img_5427_48919810982_o img_3839-1_44014408900_o img_4175_45831075731_o img_9342_43069220710_o dscf7910_42790067480_o img_2330_25970941727_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-184_38547038411_o img_0363_36479589625_o img_3547_36982596533_o img_9943_36342185981_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-99_22784236218_o 12-de-noviembre-de-2016-visita-del-ministro-licudi-al-mein-schiff-28_30874575701_o 11-november-2016-98-ceremonia-del-da-del-armisticio-en-gibraltar-5_30280695653_o 8-noviembre-2016-premios-certamen-internacional-de-arte-de-gibraltar-16_30790963581_o 2g9a9488_29447193276_o 96517_28871952974_o 123605_29462634486_o 02-mar-2016-inauguracin-omisara-de-polica-de-casemates_24862230934_o 10-feb-2016-celebracin-en-gibraltar-del-ao-nuevo-chino-40_24914823956_o desfile-de-la-libertad-de-la-ciudad-gibraltar11_9858739034_o 2g9a2895_27424754490_o img_9148_26560053805_o 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-28_20748564992_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day51_15201479045_o gibraltar-evacuation-dsc_4113_18004998671_o 32.9-2021 El-Real-Regimiento-de-Gibraltar-actua-de-nuevo-como-Regimiento-de-Guardia-de-la-Reina-en-Londres-28
