A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 img_3732_34086398822_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-lawson_9703148424_o juan-carlos-arauzo-la-lnea-de-la-concepcin-espaa-en-el-festival-internacional-de-la-cancin-de-gibraltar_14033509134_o 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival21_14464408155_o 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-46_28818208003_o img_5335_34313414461_o 2015-University-of-Gibraltar 2g9a0445_26246343674_o 2g9a8333_48874550353_o tradewise-chess-festival-entrevistas-y-ambiente19_12249057895_o 2g9a0887_48806239427_o Teleferico-Parte-Alta-del-Penon-10 11-oct-2017-eurafrica-trail-6_37398194280_o shipping-4_38736496815_o 2g9a2017_49049241587_o dav img_0262-1_45106517114_o img_1764_42825162890_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-107_38515438592_o img_9165_38364391831_o_37651614844_o 23-feb-2018-encuentro-entre-fabin-picardo-e-izquierda-unida-6_38627529030_o 2g9a9197_29852395480_o img_8973_38333052562_o_24494947168_o 2g9a9325_30063583971_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37026134071_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_29455738262_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37026137131_o 126120_28874486783_o img_2314_36326581534_o 27-abr-16-homenaje-a-los-trabajadores-de-gibraltar_26074967863_o visita-oficial-del-gobernador-al-puerto-de-gibraltar_26062050662_o 000-a-dsc_6081_19250262519_o 10-may-2014-relevo-del-bastn-de-la-reina-de-los-juegos-de-la-commonwealth_13981084349_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. flashmob-sunborn-gibraltar-1411201420_15628239107_o img_8097_21306539431_o 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-16_20135363234_o img_8147_21110263390_o 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-45_20748599032_o 1_7U3A4527 celebracin-entrada-gibraltar-en-la-uefa-07_9222039559_o img_4265_19919078143_o BP200031 1_Incendio-en-tunel-de-Gibraltar-5 entrevista-fabian-picardo_9519248282_o
