He and his team then headed to Number Six where they held their first press call as the newly formed Government following a landslide victory. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. img_0408_45389529744_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-olly-murs_9703099932_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-publico-y-ambiente_9699858495_o fiesta-del-1-de-mayo-en-gibraltar-01052015-31_17338554426_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii17_21224462011_o img_8868_20147019981_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii89_21224285871_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions 10-mayo-2016-inauguracin-nueva-ala-del-museo-de-gibraltar_26868056011_o img_4695_46063764672_o 2g9a0886_48805746758_o university-8_39603872142_o lincoln-uefa-21072015-25_19285899124_o open-tradewise-de-ajedrez-de-gibraltar_16385757192_o img_4185_21107723065_o 7u3a0047_50032694271_o evacuation-monument-0490_39633999901_o american-war-memorial-1_27855252939_o dscf7845_44550416902_o img_4566_48714144421_o 2g9a5882_31113488015_o_31078853126_o img_4631_48714310422_o 2g9a7303_29750654571_o img_3030_42792488050_o gorhams-panorama1_29720266692_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36978715306_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_29455736482_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_27417178625_o concierto-evacuados-de-gibraltar-07092015-26bn_20616236464_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-49_20564694524_o simulacro-accidente-aereo-en-gibraltar-03122014-21_15918115396_o 21-june-calentita-023_14479578814_o 2g9a9841_27262406824_o img_2116_27703095475_o 2g9a1628_26964555950_o img_2618_24810736220_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-30_9289253693_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-49_9289137317_o 75-years-gibraltar-honouring-generation-15_17560903825_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
