He and his team then headed to Number Six where they held their first press call as the newly formed Government following a landslide victory. img_4011_16075876857_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. gibraltar-music-festival-2013-publico-y-ambiente_9703058520_o 7u3a9503_49597578106_o Gibraltar - Preparations for Operation Sea Snake start at Eastern beach with tanks concierto-andrea-bocelli_48720880826_o 11-oct-2017-eurafrica-trail-9_37623779262_o img_0160_43064727984_o 7u3a5090_49336224583_o Monos-50 P1080598 panorama-2_24765450267_o 2g9a2052_48706413262_o img_5164_48919068563_o 2g9a8409_46634161811_o img_4057_45781939482_o img_1236_36605107930_o img_3260_40043113835_o img_3338_39127766260_o img_9197_38333623062_o_37651611014_o img_4256_36329336034_o 2g9a9522_32348233715_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-50-aniversario-referndum-10967-12_36750961070_o_37027016941_o img_2175_36326674674_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-15_30927287616_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_28941931353_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 24-jun-2016-comparecencia-de-fabin-picardo-en-el-parlamento-de-gibraltar-tras-referndum-permanencia-ru-en-ue-13_27844258676_o flashmob-sunborn-gibraltar-1411201431_15811532241_o investidura-adolfo-canepa-como-nuevo-alcalde15_13581230603_o investidura-adolfo-canepa-como-nuevo-alcalde06_13581151065_o img_2133_27424749470_o 2g9a2122_26635255324_o img_2927_25251376405_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
