cementerio-de-trafalgar-gibraltar_22718570896_o cueva-de-st-michael-gibraltar_22122902684_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-617_22555004230_o turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-717_22730243822_o el-castillo-moro-en-la-ladera-del-pen-de-gibraltar_22116965394_o cola-peatonal-salida-de-gibraltar-23072015-05_19937662186_o ii-festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar04_10382458176_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival06_14461013101_o lincoln-uefa-21072015-16_19882330006_o 15-de-enero-2016-simulacro-de-rescate-con-helicpteros-merlin-mk3-en-gibraltar-06_24398436285_o sk-slovan-bratislava-europa-fc-gibraltar-09072015-15_19570563535_o 2g9a0579_48801429447_o img_0079_42877265175_o 11-oct-2017-eurafrica-trail-23_23803343268_o 2g9a9730_50032155873_o american-war-memorial-7761_38737187195_o P1080655 ragged-staff-3_27855460529_o st-michaels-cave-3_38737125405_o img_5150_48919069573_o img_4607_48713814578_o 2g9a8415_46581734862_o img_4007-1_44014411210_o img_9474_44160738204_o img_1141_36605092940_o img_1635_43726052185_o img_5400_41421459905_o img_0755_38822716370_o img_4198_36329336854_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37026137331_o 12-de-noviembre-de-2016-visita-del-ministro-licudi-al-mein-schiff-52_30846365502_o 9-de-noviembre-2016-fabin-picardo-en-la-feria-internacional-del-bunkering-ibia-1_30879413235_o 9-de-noviembre-2016-fabin-picardo-en-la-feria-internacional-del-bunkering-ibia-8_30763096512_o a-dsc_5491_18815992763_o 09-feb-2016-simulacro-de-incidente-en-el-aeropuerto-de-gibraltar09-feb-2016-simulacro-de-incidente-en-el-aeropuerto-de-gibraltar_24888687076_o img_5978_25372636704_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. 24-jun-2016-comparecencia-de-fabin-picardo-en-el-parlamento-de-gibraltar-tras-referndum-permanencia-ru-en-ue-14_27802384691_o img_8728_24398183631_o 10-may-2014-relevo-del-bastn-de-la-reina-de-los-juegos-de-la-commonwealth_13981114460_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_24388707862_o lanzamiento-de-la-campaa-gibraltar-stronger-in-europe_26321399981_o 75-years-gibraltar-honouring-generation-04_17373205728_o BP200031 010-copy_20124219000_o 20220911_21-GUN-SALUTE_153 hms-scimitar-5-royal-navy_48859358278_o
