He and his team then headed to Number Six where they held their first press call as the newly formed Government following a landslide victory. Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - (Line Wall Road Polling station where tensions were high at one point this morning) - Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. img_3356_34112847811_o img_0301_45202118025_o img_9347_43202803124_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-fabian-picardo_9702997286_o img_0443_45202138375_o sombra-de-una-palmera_17682911541_o 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-41_29151478040_o hospital-de-campaa_49726264848_o 27-ene-17-alumnos-de-la-escuela-obispo-fitzgerald-de-gibraltar-conmemoran-el-holocausto_32431793851_o 2013-Old-Gibraltar-Views-III 2014-Definitive open-tradewise-de-ajedrez-de-gibraltar_16386690875_o img_4224_21107671005_o concierto-andrea-bocelli_48720545188_o gib-view-1_38737087565_o 2g9a0932_48805747668_o evacuation-monument-0490_39633999901_o 1_img_0111_29910409648_o Southport-gates-1 img_2792_38737263605_o 2g9a4504_48713812218_o 2g9a0681_48919069083_o img_7222_34614667512_o img_8023_42792486790_o img_7178_33968356873_o img_9494_42792483810_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-7_29314689520_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354072523_o 97420_28871951394_o img_2249_37163040685_o 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-21_21176999652_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 2g9a2861_27090562364_o Chief Rabbi of Commonwealth at Jews Gate Cemetery opening img_2187_27090572484_o Gibraltar - 9th May 2015 - Mo Anton took the first prize at the V Gibraltar Song Festival held at the Tercentennary Sports Hall in Gibraltar.Fourteen singers competed in the final from across the world following over 700 entries.
