Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. la-nube-de-levante-se-desliza-por-la-pista-del-aeropuerto-de-gibraltar_22551395120_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-publico-y-ambiente_9703093690_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 foot-12_17496782969_o img_9058_20148213751_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii86_21224293141_o 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-99_29151376010_o 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-8_29405665056_o img_7575_34925360743_o img_1819_44839792634_o 2g9a0845_48805745823_o 2g9a0406_48800936943_o 2012-Queens-Jubilee strongman-en-casemates_9997656265_o img_9478_41222425125_o 2g9a9873_50032694061_o 2g9a1102_48952339342_o gib-view-9_39603221682_o Monos-en-la-ciudad-29 1_Teleferico-Parte-Alta-del-Penon-12 img_1713_36861707931_o 7U3A2434 img_3228_40937377451_o 20171214_112054_38346075084_o img_9991_42144386582_o img_9102_38333470362_o_26590181719_o img_4060_37023368141_o img_0240_36479585495_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-82_29524292811_o 17-feb-2017-visita-a-gibraltar-del-alcalde-de-chiclana-jos-mara-romn-y-rueda-de-prensa-con-fabin-picardo_32368143555_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-89_29314630190_o 2g9a5346_30926119996_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-13_25326958979_o 2g9a7409_29720305742_o 2g9a7181_29207199593_o img_9627_25956022653_o 02-mar-2016-inauguracin-omisara-de-polica-de-casemates_25374327352_o 10-feb-2016-celebracin-en-gibraltar-del-ao-nuevo-chino-9_24847790221_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_24129255589_o Chief Rabbi of Commonwealth at Jews Gate Cemetery opening DEF0D81 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-83_21300598385_o img_8071_21110354970_o 9-mayo-2014-visita-del-secretario-de-estado-del-tesoro-britnico-daniel-alexander-con-ocasin-del-da-de-europa_14168244085_o Orgullo-Gibraltar-2022-34-Ministro-Principal El-Real-Regimiento-de-Gibraltar-actua-de-nuevo-como-Regimiento-de-Guardia-de-la-Reina-en-Londres-18
