This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. ii-festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar23_10382437804_o 1_img_5155_34443962435_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions 2015-RAF-Squadrons-IV 27-ene-17-alumnos-de-la-escuela-obispo-fitzgerald-de-gibraltar-conmemoran-el-holocausto_31742373543_o 2g9a0559_26817621986_o 7u3a9503_49597578106_o visita-platini-gibraltar-rock-cup-2014-30_13967075410_o 2g9a0948_48805747368_o img_2073_27855785559_o img_0210_29910454658_o P1080601 img_9750_21274985270_o evacuation-monument-0482_27856104869_o img_4023_45831071261_o 2g9a9187_29852397410_o rita-ora-at-mtv-presents-gibraltar-calling-2018-day-2-by-ollie-millington-110_43072427480_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-56_25326925669_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-163_38490774156_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_29484972351_o CM & Franco Visit Frontier Exhibition 060619 { seq} ( Photo John Bugeja) at the JMHall img_5205_29399314991_o 2g9a5731_31949652413_o 18-jun-2016-noche-de-la-calentita-en-gibraltar_27222133983_o visita-oficial-del-gobernador-al-puerto-de-gibraltar_25551863733_o 2g9a9347_27262518813_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off img_5958_25372598094_o The Gibraltar Music Festival img_2956_24620655214_o Gibraltar - 9th May 2015 - Mo Anton took the first prize at the V Gibraltar Song Festival held at the Tercentennary Sports Hall in Gibraltar.Fourteen singers competed in the final from across the world following over 700 entries.
