A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 img_3342_34112850621_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-level-42_9699891757_o img_9367_43921120421_o cix-italia_14053042243_o 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival32_14277753919_o regiment-freedom-of-city-0114-bw_15253400557_o 17-febrero-2016-exposicin-gibraltar-y-la-guerra-civil-espaola-31_24457973174_o gibraltar-eslovaquia02_10967407915_o 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-4_28816110624_o img_4175_21081543556_o 2g9a0222_48801426452_o 7u3a0067_50032693926_o sebastian-coe-en-gibraltar_39843324932_o 7u3a5720_49425346103_o 7u3a5748_49425344303_o Monos-51 Alameda-23 Mezquita-18 2g9a4211_48230717867_o 2g9a4236_48230714537_o 2g9a4241_48230643706_o img_4582_48714144291_o dscf7897_42790051630_o img_3251_40043115035_o img_3350_40937363661_o 20171214_094350_24195321837_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-59_25326923589_o img_2029_36212877703_o 2g9a9534_28856829724_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354048013_o 2g9a9689_29481293275_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354091713_o 21-jun-2016-inauguracin-puente-colgante-en-la-reserva-natural-del-pen-de-gibraltar_27222308203_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37026133351_o 09-feb-2016-simulacro-de-incidente-en-el-aeropuerto-de-gibraltar_24286855844_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37026146011_o 05-ene-2016-cabalgata-de-los-reyes-magos-en-gibraltar_24180733796_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. simulacro-accidente-aereo-en-gibraltar-03122014-10_15758188217_o simulacro-accidente-aereo-en-gibraltar-03122014-05_15758193127_o img_2528_24723548439_o 2015_09_14__0271_21235455090_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day26_15198504841_o Kingston-9 img_4310_20351842578_o HMS Prince of Wales en Gibraltar
