15-de-abril-2016-jardines-de-la-alameda-de-gibraltar-1_26414987996_o elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_23216924022_o Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - (Both Joe Bossano for GSLP/Libs and Kim Karnani Santos attended Line Wall Road where tensions were high at one point this morning). Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. img_0404_32242153428_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii37_21190222066_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. img_0386_44297008470_o img_0546_45389675714_o intercambio-cultural-entre-gibraltar-y-cdiz_42178229764_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions Year Pack 2017.indd intercambio-cultural-entre-gibraltar-y-cdiz_42178240204_o 2g9a2968_49094629882_o portaaviones-hms-queen-elizabeth-llegando-a-gibraltar-imagen-tomada-desde-uno-de-los-buques-de-apoyo-via-royal-navy-17_40133900942_o university-29_38925362664_o tradewise-chess-festival-entrevistas-y-ambiente08_12249516844_o 2g9a1077_48952340307_o 180731 - Visita a la nueva central eléctrica y planta de GNL cable-car-to-top-of-the-rock_24765559447_o img_9721_21275020840_o img_0409_10_11_tonemapped_24765389317_o Monos-en-la-ciudad-4 2g9a4270_48230725012_o 2g9a4561_48713812813_o 2g9a8341_32759671228_o 25-abr-2019-visita-fabin-picardo-al-ies-virgen-de-la-esperanza-de-la-lnea-8_32754310667_o dscf7908_43693486995_o img_9493_43969654425_o img_1478_44635115891_o img_9496_29664841447_o img_9077_24493758428_o_37651621644_o cambio-de-guardia-en-gibraltar-por-boda-real_42163382082_o img_8805_26589635029_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354069183_o 8-noviembre-2016-premios-certamen-internacional-de-arte-de-gibraltar-32_30763269292_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36978708946_o 2g9a7246_29720276202_o img_2235_37163044435_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_29275177750_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-38_29605137485_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_29455746672_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-91_29494995942_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_26808902494_o img_5183_29479243165_o 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-10_20999200180_o 5-enero-2014-cabalgata-de-reyes-gibraltar-14_16196154626_o img_9214_26534120516_o panorama_gibraltar2_21397231926_o Main-Street-Condes-de-Wessex-en-su-paseo-por-la-Calle-Real-6 0519-agosto-2015-celebracin-del-centenario-del-nacimiento-de-sir-joshua-hassan_20682449606_o
