A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. img_3457_34112857881_o presentacin-libro-yanitos-tllez02_12102309304_o img_5238_33634014233_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off regiment-freedom-of-city-0212-bw_15436771021_o intercambio-cultural-entre-gibraltar-y-cdiz_42178231134_o 2g9a4960_48874427718_o img_2681_45564843461_o strongmen-201331_10019222746_o strongmen-201356_10019007974_o 7u3a5085_49336224738_o 2g9a2530_49085934973_o commonwealth-park-9_38925455484_o P1080798 img_5350_48919810302_o CM & Franco Visit Frontier Exhibition 060619 { seq} ( Photo John Bugeja) at the JMHall img_9035_38309180926_o_38310544166_o img_7187_34391520690_o 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-13_31765982120_o img_9518_35393027033_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36978709086_o 2g9a5941_31113366755_o_31078852366_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37168279395_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-12_25326959639_o img_2235_37163044435_o 113238_28871991264_o 18-jun-2016-noche-de-la-calentita-en-gibraltar_27732682662_o a-dsc_6034_19436444675_o 2g9a9505_27839929846_o Gibraltar - 9th May 2015 - Mo Anton took the first prize at the V Gibraltar Song Festival held at the Tercentennary Sports Hall in Gibraltar.Fourteen singers competed in the final from across the world following over 700 entries.
