A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-610_22555049020_o default 25-noviember-2014-cola-de-salida-gibraltar-09_15695195950_o img_3417_33432753423_o img_0358_44296999010_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival34_14277950318_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-2-mark-eliyahu-ensemble-07_9222705751_o img_9922_21280304538_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions tradewise-chess-festival-entrevistas-y-ambiente16_12249631326_o 7u3a6452_49454486021_o 2g9a2577_49086663222_o img_2703_31692342238_o calle-cordoneros-1_38737184835_o portaaviones-hms-queen-elizabeth-llegando-a-gibraltar-imagen-tomada-desde-uno-de-los-buques-de-apoyo-via-royal-navy-23_39267701665_o Monos-en-la-ciudad-10 The Anniversary of The Battle Of Trafalgar, An act of remembrance held within The Trafalgar Cemetery Gibraltar, Sunday 18th October 2015.VIP's included Interim Governor, Chief Minister, 2nd Sea Lord and CBF. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. rueda-de-prensa-de-fabin-picardo-y-joseph-garca-en-bruselas_27187074176_o img_8861_24184992560_o visita-del-ministro-principal-a-cdiz_26250754010_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_24414609151_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-34_9289230229_o 2015_09_14__0111_21397673846_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-44_21274399116_o HMS-Dasher4
