Vistas de Gibraltar nueva-ruta-area-gibraltar-manchester_27468327114_o Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - (Both Joe Bossano for GSLP/Libs and Kim Karnani Santos attended Line Wall Road where tensions were high at one point this morning). Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-575_22121520384_o 007_20231849456_o turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-213_22557449590_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_23325344425_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival03_14461162821_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions default img_7559_35347380670_o portaaviones-hms-queen-elizabeth-llegando-a-gibraltar-imagen-tomada-desde-uno-de-los-buques-de-apoyo-via-royal-navy-33_40133910282_o regiment-freedom-of-city-0118-bw_15253196319_o cervantes-06 2012-Definitive-2012-Birds-of-the-Rock-Addition open-tradewise-de-ajedrez-de-gibraltar_15766684423_o strongmen-201349_10019090915_o 7u3a0134_50032693781_o img_5705_49086660242_o 2g9a8775_48826625196_o Monos-17 Teleferico-Parte-Alta-del-Penon-26 img_4638_48714310412_o img_2358_39948488735_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-181_38490771696_o img_8805_26589635029_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-70_29605102005_o 2g9a5853_30999473811_o_31114930575_o 2g9a5888_31113492075_o_31114930215_o 2g9a6144_30746388380_o_31114931475_o 02-mar-2016-inauguracin-omisara-de-polica-de-casemates_24866076103_o 10-feb-2016-celebracin-en-gibraltar-del-ao-nuevo-chino-26_24847786071_o 10-feb-2016-celebracin-en-gibraltar-del-ao-nuevo-chino-5_24573487469_o 09-feb-2016-simulacro-de-incidente-en-el-aeropuerto-de-gibraltar_24821641881_o 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-85_21000522449_o 2g9a0213_26677607330_o The Gibraltar Music Festival img_2693_24621549314_o The Gibraltar Music Festival img_2727_24625357453_o img_2569_24479546963_o 2g9a0155_26856598152_o 2015_09_14__0160_21412924792_o gibraltar-national-day-2013-224_9716910343_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day19_15014879350_o Kingston-37 1_7U3A4535 img_4424_19918068293_o Orgullo-Gibraltar-2022-11
