This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. img_3351_33432739153_o img_9956_43016042775_o 7u3a9328_49597829337_o 14009938016_90a12f94bc_o 7u3a9351_49597579756_o 17-febrero-2016-exposicin-gibraltar-y-la-guerra-civil-espaola-5_24461821963_o 2014-Gibraltar-Sea-Scouts-Centenary henry-cavill-en-la-carrera-del-350-aniversario-de-los-royal-marines-en-gibraltar-25-octubre-201426_15623731465_o concierto-andrea-bocelli_48720880666_o 11-oct-2017-eurafrica-trail-33_37623772922_o 29-mayo-inauguracin-xvii-juegos-del-estrecho09_14308408821_o ii-jornada-y-clausura-xvii-juegos-del-estrecho06_14312769701_o img_4204_21276163880_o img_9536_28250755308_o img_0067_43733187372_o 2g9a8794_48826247893_o img_9491_41222422705_o img_8290_46581729942_o img_0210_29910454658_o dscf7920_44550422732_o img_9687_21276231879_o reunin-del-ministro-principal-con-susana-daz-en-sevilla_25021148247_o img_9021_37650138674_o_24494944638_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-3_29605163365_o actividades-paralelas-al-open-de-ajedrez-de-gibraltar_32313277290_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-62_29314654850_o actividades-paralelas-al-open-de-ajedrez-de-gibraltar_32651760866_o 2g9a5385_25326079619_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37168263075_o 128453_28874479113_o 2g9a9287_29448083586_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-58 img_9585_25956075843_o 4-abr-2016-inauguracin-nueva-sede-banco-internacional-de-gibraltar-9_26234664635_o concierto-evacuados-de-gibraltar-07092015-47bn_21051017518_o concierto-evacuados-de-gibraltar-07092015-4bn_21228486302_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 7U3A4804 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-06_20569982788_o Orgullo-Gibraltar-2022-43 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-07_20731708136_o 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-08_20731707446_o 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-23_20135356464_o
