160421 - Inauguración de la nueva marina en Gibraltar para barcos pequeños el-hotel-flotante-de-lujo-sunborn-est-permanentemente-en-la-marina-de-ocean-village-de-gibraltar_22727097582_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-58_22731452942_o turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-346_22745126835_o turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-642_22754531371_o img_3340_34112851271_o img_0092_43872556642_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-1-the-sweet-canary-ensemble-48_9225471026_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival44_14441424616_o 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival38_14461032581_o 2016-Alameda-Gardens-200th-Anniversay Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions img_0510_22498866888_o 2g9a0556_26757785812_o open-tradewise-de-ajedrez-de-gibraltar_16360727036_o 2g9a2580_49085939168_o 1_img_0082_43733183022_o Cuevas-de-San-Miguel-14 Monos-en-la-ciudad-19 Alameda-15 P1080718 23-jun-2019-blogueros-espaoles-de-viajes-visitan-el-pen_48131067266_o 2g9a4258_48230712127_o 2g9a4494_48714142106_o 20171214_111115_38346075574_o 2g9a4497_48714307792_o img_2320_44635535101_o img_1799_36166464804_o 2g9a5321_30845121092_o img_9646_43969764925_o 10-may-2016-visita-inaugural-crucero-jewel-of-the-seas-6_26330689693_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36770640400_o 10-may-2016-visita-inaugural-crucero-jewel-of-the-seas-10_26935102685_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-101_29524280811_o img_7896_23838993019_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. concierto-evacuados-de-gibraltar-07092015-10bn_21052080459_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off Chief Rabbi of Commonwealth at Jews Gate Cemetery opening a-dsc_5812_19430245192_o img_1386_24977812605_o 2015_09_14__0046_20801316094_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_24470801436_o 2015_09_14__0162_21397595266_o 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-20_20571214569_o GIBRALTAR NATIONAL DAY gibraltar-evacuation-dsc_3707_17816392558_o USS-Alaska-Gib-3 gibraltar-evacuation-dsc_3787_18005031401_o
