This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. gibraltar-en-el-cuarto-comit-de-la-onu_31336303638_o img_9038_19518767224_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-1-the-sweet-canary-ensemble-21_9225446852_o 01-mar-2016-entrega-de-premios-concurso-artistas-jvenes-de-gibraltar_24862359554_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-57_29439811985_o 17-febrero-2016-exposicin-gibraltar-y-la-guerra-civil-espaola-18_24970498362_o strongmen-201339_10019150025_o 2g9a0387_48801282061_o american-war-memorial-7754_27855787699_o img_9675_21436926736_o P1080629 23-jun-2019-blogueros-espaoles-de-viajes-visitan-el-pen_48114461996_o 2g9a6715_48204115747_o 2g9a5360_48726351407_o dscf7828_44600541071_o img_9600_44881495361_o img_3008_43693496915_o img_0170_28318285958_o img_0783_39877385172_o img_8847_37651003354_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-63_29605110545_o img_2187_36326671424_o 2g9a5319_30961716145_o 7-feb-2017-encuentro-entre-fabin-picardo-y-el-alcalde-de-la-lnea-juan-franco_31949827823_o 2g9a9816_29372682042_o 10-may-2016-visita-inaugural-crucero-jewel-of-the-seas-15_26329399254_o 27-abr-16-homenaje-a-los-trabajadores-de-gibraltar_26074967863_o ceremonia-de-las-llaves-gibraltar-25092014-09_15334829606_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 2g9a9328_27262520843_o Chief Rabbi of Commonwealth at Jews Gate Cemetery opening 2g9a0083_26882444961_o festival-internacional-de-la-cancin-de-gibraltar_17503106775_o img_5958_25372598094_o flashmob-sunborn-gibraltar-1411201435_15811531771_o img_9062_23853846273_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-71_9288985201_o 2015_09_14__0034_21424028945_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_24470816456_o 2015_09_14__0254_21236693379_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-55_21308775621_o ceremonia-75-anos-evacuacion-gibraltar-22052015-02_17991991542_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day22_15014981818_o Orgullo-Gibraltar-2022-46 Portaaviones HMS Queen Elizabeth en Gibraltar BP200031
