los-monos-no-pueden-faltan-entre-los-souvenirs-de-gibraltar_22751650091_o colas-frontera-diciembre04_12348633105_o Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - (Both Joe Bossano for GSLP/Libs and Kim Karnani Santos attended Line Wall Road where tensions were high at one point this morning). Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. In less than five minutes a free flowing pedestrain zone saw queues increased by effecting a total stop of all persons crossing for nearly 15 minutes. This led to queues forming on the Gibraltar side extending into the airport forecourt within minutes. 25-noviember-2014-cola-de-salida-gibraltar-09_15695195950_o img_9966_42111994190_o 6-de-septiembre-2014-iii-gibraltar-music-festival12_15145453526_o img_8842_20147064531_o 10-mayo-2016-inauguracin-nueva-ala-del-museo-de-gibraltar_26868057221_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions img_5344_33634011173_o Gibraltar - Operation Sea Snake sees tanks and Royal Marines land on Eastern Beach concierto-andrea-bocelli_48720880711_o 2g9a0843_48806100901_o Christmas-2011-Nativity-Art lincoln-uefa-21072015-12_19908488815_o tradewise-chess-festival-entrevistas-y-ambiente28_12249606836_o 1_img_0071_43733186362_o img_9668_21471741291_o Punta-Europa-7 piper-1_39633880161_o st-michaels-cave-8_38925215754_o 2g9a4636_48713813733_o img_5321_48919810757_o 2g9a8415_46581734862_o 2g9a8339_32759671438_o img_3252_40895448322_o img_8862_38364735331_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-143_38547050951_o img_3560_34196603126_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-145_26771238589_o img_0341_36311286052_o img_0132_40383723260_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-20_30846307522_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354065973_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_29275189760_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_26808902494_o img_9537_25956123893_o 02-mar-2016-inauguracin-omisara-de-polica-de-casemates_25197190180_o 09-feb-2016-simulacro-de-incidente-en-el-aeropuerto-de-gibraltar_24888688136_o The Gibraltar Music Festival festival-internacional-de-la-cancin-de-gibraltar_17504221095_o 2g9a9894_27773284712_o 2g9a2119_26635255224_o img_2914_21772532782_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
