Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. 20150911_133216514_ios_22729474192_o turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-665_22717427306_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 img_3762_34086390502_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival23_14277962138_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-77_29331737072_o img_2704_45564868081_o 2013-Birds-Overprint img_2731_44650726015_o 2019-Post-Go-Moon-Landings 2g9a2963_49094630012_o 2g9a8834_48826628056_o visita-del-alcalde-de-la-lnea-al-ministro-principal-de-gibraltar_48954055653_o img_4502_48826817602_o 2g9a2059_49049025331_o Monos-32 img_1254_38925365554_o Monos-62 img_5351_48919804487_o img_3969_30891444787_o img_1223_36193449813_o img_2327_44635531711_o img_8211_30729846318_o img_2388_26972654888_o img_0784_26036941808_o img_7291_34736914446_o 5-enero-2017-cabalgata-de-reyes-magos-gibraltar-20_31980776402_o 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-68_32141122185_o 14-diciembre-2016-gbc-open-day-maratn-benfico-8_31527594841_o 2g9a4684_30827323161_o img_0403_36082652700_o 2g9a9289_29193661580_o 21-jun-2016-inauguracin-puente-colgante-en-la-reserva-natural-del-pen-de-gibraltar_27758328941_o 10-may-2014-relevo-del-bastn-de-la-reina-de-los-juegos-de-la-commonwealth06_14164439451_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 2g9a9851_27596511480_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off img_9207_26560135255_o flashmob-sunborn-gibraltar-1411201408_15811535981_o 2015_09_14__0013_21397864156_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_23868808314_o 1_2G9A0464 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-13_20569975758_o 1_7U3A4609 gibraltar-evacuation-dsc_4205_17816332748_o 20220911_21-GUN-SALUTE_153
