A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii20_21216519815_o img_5217_34313395251_o hospital-de-campaa_49726264608_o festival-literario-gibraltar04_10496967536_o Gibraltar - Operation Sea Snake sees tanks and Royal Marines land on Eastern Beach The Anniversary of The Battle Of Trafalgar, An act of remembrance held within The Trafalgar Cemetery Gibraltar, Sunday 18th October 2015.VIP's included Interim Governor, Chief Minister, 2nd Sea Lord and CBF. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-61_20999238500_o 2g9a9440_27839936936_o 2g9a9780_27596464760_o GIBRALTAR NATIONAL DAY gibraltar-national-day-2013-212_9716927827_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-28_21112594800_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-62_21300632845_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-97_21112497710_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day66_15201070942_o gibraltar-evacuation-dsc_3735_17381678084_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day14_15015002787_o 7U3A4863 Orgullo-Gibraltar-2022-12 gibraltar-defence-police_48859710036_o
