Primer vuelo Gibraltar-Marrakech el-hotel-flotante-de-lujo-sunborn-est-permanentemente-en-la-marina-de-ocean-village-de-gibraltar_22727097582_o Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - (Commissioner of police at Town Range Polling Station as he oversees security) Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - Fabian Picardo led his GSLP/LiberalAlliance Ministers to the Convent earlier this morning where there were sworn into Government by Acting Governor Alison Macmilan. He and his team then headed to Number Six where they held their first press call as the newly formed Government following a landslide victory. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. vehculos-hacen-cola-para-entrar-en-gibraltar_9458058243_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 14-agosto-2014-colas-de-accceso-a-gibraltar01_14895581056_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival37_14441432176_o 7u3a9348_49597829132_o 2g9a0701_48806100076_o 7u3a9470_49597578596_o 2g9a2960_49094440386_o 7u3a9496_49597827342_o 29-mayo-inauguracin-xvii-juegos-del-estrecho17_14311132384_o repatriacin-de-nacionales-britnicos-desde-marruecos-covid-19_49870979432_o 2g9a8817_48826622181_o 62032-0-07 img_9679_21275094310_o evacuation-monument-0490_39633999901_o 23-jun-2019-blogueros-espaoles-de-viajes-visitan-el-pen_48131075096_o img_5091_48919070258_o img_5415_48919811052_o dscf7841_43690946415_o img_9530_42792483300_o 1_17-feb-2017-visita-a-gibraltar-del-alcalde-de-chiclana-jos-mara-romn-y-rueda-de-prensa-con-fabin-picardo_32217921602_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-151_37830944584_o 12-de-noviembre-de-2016-visita-del-ministro-licudi-al-mein-schiff-36_30927351356_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37026133021_o 11-november-2016-98-ceremonia-del-da-del-armisticio-en-gibraltar-28_30282255534_o img_3707_37163104365_o 18-jun-2016-noche-de-la-calentita-en-gibraltar_27222140483_o 10-may-2016-visita-inaugural-crucero-jewel-of-the-seas-8_26935103445_o a-dsc_0247_19440895811_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 2g9a2050_27172744801_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 2g9a2122_26635255324_o Chief Rabbi of Commonwealth at Jews Gate Cemetery opening visita-del-ministro-principal-a-cdiz_25920707703_o 2015_09_14__0151_21412946822_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-48_20677973284_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day34_15201143302_o 1_7U3A4648 001_20286091096_o g_0205_19691094263_o Main-Street-Condes-de-Wessex-en-su-paseo-por-la-Calle-Real-11 HMS Prince of Wales en Gibraltar 20220910_21-GUN-SALUTE_141 GIB-20230506-045-Coronation Gun Salute
