A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-719_22555873990_o 1_discurso-del-ministro-principal-en-la-cuarta-comisin-de-la-asamblea-general-de-la-organizacin-de-naciones-unidas_30005416782_o 20-agosto-2014-colas-de-salida-de-gibraltar18_14801018548_o 21-agosto-2014-colas-de-entrada-y-salida-de-gibraltar22_14989721515_o img_9977_43872559072_o 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival13_14463006652_o fiesta-del-1-de-mayo-en-gibraltar-01052015-25_17338559986_o img_8897_20115166826_o 17-febrero-2016-exposicin-gibraltar-y-la-guerra-civil-espaola-37_24793038270_o 2018-RAF-Centenary img_0643_21410118719_o festival-literario-gibraltar02_10497188353_o img_0831_21606046331_o university-32_38925360984_o 27-ene-17-fabin-picardo-visita-el-open-de-gibraltar-de-ajedrez-14_32513494886_o 2g9a1077_48952340307_o sebastian-coe-en-gibraltar_38976723295_o Monos-en-la-ciudad-21 P1080666 P1080608 P1080696 23-jun-2019-blogueros-espaoles-de-viajes-visitan-el-pen_48131160582_o img_5201_48919808622_o img_4617_48714310607_o 2g9a8341_32759671228_o img_3849_45831059501_o img_4128_31960326238_o img_5278_41600438794_o img_5282_40516032900_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-87_29314632820_o 24-sep-2016-toma-de-posesin-de-carmelo-zammit-del-cargo-de-obispo-de-gibraltar_29876084781_o 109651_29207860900_o visita-oficial-del-gobernador-al-puerto-de-gibraltar_26154508235_o Chief Rabbi of Commonwealth at Jews Gate Cemetery opening simulacro-accidente-aereo-en-gibraltar-03122014-16_15941969601_o desfile-de-la-libertad-de-la-ciudad-gibraltar16_9858759046_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-45_9289162733_o despedida-del-gobernador-de-gibraltar-13112013-marcos-moreno03_10967188486_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
