Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. panormica-desde-la-parte-alta-del-pen_22750648491_o skywalk-gibraltar-13-photo-taken-for-bovis-koala-jv-by-meteogibs-photographer-stephen-ball_42273841775_o img_3719_34112970991_o elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_22697024424_o presentacin-libro-yanitos-tllez14_12102168893_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-publico-y-ambiente_9699807881_o festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar-25102014-32_15628305841_o 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival07_14441263236_o 6-de-septiembre-2014-iii-gibraltar-music-festival59_15167932482_o img_8830_19953501470_o 2019-Leonardo-da-Vinci 2g9a0943_48806102256_o gibraltar-tradewise-chess-festival_005_12193338105_o img_4107_20921048099_o img_4204_20486612243_o img_9581_42077110902_o img_0152_43064730254_o img_5724_49085935953_o img_9692_20842025933_o P1080780 st-michael-cave-176_39603759102_o 2g9a4529_48714141246_o 25-abr-2019-visita-fabin-picardo-al-ies-virgen-de-la-esperanza-de-la-lnea-24_47697575541_o img_3252_40895448322_o img_9828_31008297668_o img_3015_39128194910_o img_3036_42792487910_o 5-enero-2017-cabalgata-de-reyes-magos-gibraltar-6_32010697791_o 23-feb-2018-encuentro-entre-fabin-picardo-e-izquierda-unida-15_38627528190_o 24-sep-2016-toma-de-posesin-de-carmelo-zammit-del-cargo-de-obispo-de-gibraltar_29959238165_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36770640490_o 2g9a7421_29207203173_o img_3723_36765432330_o visita-oficial-del-gobernador-al-puerto-de-gibraltar_26128564936_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-92_29524285681_o 2g9a9736_27262397454_o The Gibraltar Music Festival gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-70_9291773504_o img_7782_20677503173_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
