He and his team then headed to Number Six where they held their first press call as the newly formed Government following a landslide victory. Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_22696873034_o 6-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-iii52_21029635379_o inauguracin-exposicin-vctor-quintanilla-en-gibraltar_25851362566_o img_0487_22524932499_o 27-ene-17-alumnos-de-la-escuela-obispo-fitzgerald-de-gibraltar-conmemoran-el-holocausto_31742373543_o img_9978_21468020655_o Gibraltar - Operation Sea Snake sees tanks and Royal Marines land on Eastern Beach La-frontera-cerrada-vista-desde-Espana-con-numerosas-personas-agolpadas-para-poder-ver-a-sus-seres-queridos.-Fotografia-de-Gibraltar-Chronicle 31-mayo-ii-jornada-y-clausura-xvii-juegos-del-estrecho23_14292930526_o 11-oct-2017-eurafrica-trail-16_23803344398_o open-tradewise-de-ajedrez-de-gibraltar_16360719866_o gibraltar-feroe-febrero-2014-13_12865007524_o img_9520_41222416665_o 7u3a5246_49336227303_o Monos-en-la-ciudad-6 P1080663 panorama-6_38737331865_o img_5382_48919074188_o 25-abr-2019-visita-fabin-picardo-al-ies-virgen-de-la-esperanza-de-la-lnea-9_33820113778_o 20171214_111115_38346075574_o img_9355_31008101638_o img_2383_26972657888_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-164_38547041971_o img_4161_36329342594_o img_8721_39877397052_o 08-may-2017-10visita-inaugural-del-crucero-celebrity-or-reflection-a-gibraltar_33895407454_o img_3570_34196601246_o img_0266_36479574835_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354088883_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-89_29314630190_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-85_25326905139_o 2g9a9318_29482389665_o 114245_29496711125_o 123283_29416809541_o 18-jun-2016-noche-de-la-calentita-en-gibraltar_27834019805_o concierto-evacuados-de-gibraltar-07092015-53bn_21050829270_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. flashmob-sunborn-gibraltar-1411201427_15193973443_o 2g9a9414_27839939086_o 2g9a1614_26964556140_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-75_21113728419_o 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-30_20757940895_o 1_7U3A4587 9-mayo-2014-visita-a-gibraltar-del-secretario-de-estado-britnico-daniel-alexander-con-ocasin-del-da-de-europa_14168244335_o
