A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. img_0387_45202126515_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-publico-y-ambiente_9703062508_o inauguracin-exposicin-vctor-quintanilla-en-gibraltar_25851358156_o 10-mayo-2016-inauguracin-nueva-ala-del-museo-de-gibraltar_26868061171_o img_7559_35347380670_o 2018-The-Prince-of-Wales henry-cavill-en-la-carrera-del-350-aniversario-de-los-royal-marines-en-gibraltar-25-octubre-201423_15624582702_o regiment-freedom-of-city-0099-bw_15439625722_o 2g9a0625_26578779740_o 2g9a0949_48806102211_o gibraltar-tradewise-chess-festival_006_12193593703_o img_4260_21081434986_o img_0192_41972495360_o Monos-en-la-ciudad-9 Mezquita-4 img_5150_48919069573_o img_9737_43969712555_o CM & Franco Visit Frontier Exhibition 060619 { seq} ( Photo John Bugeja) at the JMHall img_2395_40800648062_o reunin-del-ministro-principal-con-susana-daz-en-sevilla_39893135221_o 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-54_32141127665_o 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-60_32141125105_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37168279735_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-5_29314691600_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-89_30962795485_o 2g9a7300_29750655381_o 2g9a9376_29482310525_o img_5205_29399314991_o img_9585_25956075843_o 02-mar-2016-inauguracin-omisara-de-polica-de-casemates_24866076523_o 3-de-diciembre-2015-bienvenida-al-atlethic-de-bilbao-12_22870121843_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off Chief Rabbi of Commonwealth at Jews Gate Cemetery opening a-dsc_5646_19430287782_o 5-enero-2014-cabalgata-de-reyes-gibraltar-04_16034488070_o lanzamiento-de-la-campaa-gibraltar-stronger-in-europe_26361652936_o img_5990_25376580433_o 2015_09_14__0203_20801026364_o 19-agosto-2015-celebracin-del-centenario-del-nacimiento-de-sir-joshua-hassan_20520661858_o ceremonia-75-anos-evacuacion-gibraltar-22052015-02_17991991542_o gibraltar-evacuation-dsc_3838_17816611720_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day18_15014990177_o 9-mayo-2014-visita-a-gibraltar-del-secretario-de-estado-britnico-daniel-alexander-con-ocasin-del-da-de-europa_13981607568_o 035_20125512919_o
