160421 - Inauguración de la nueva marina en Gibraltar para barcos pequeños Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - (Both Joe Bossano for GSLP/Libs and Kim Karnani Santos attended Line Wall Road where tensions were high at one point this morning). Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-337_22745149835_o 1_discurso-del-ministro-principal-en-la-cuarta-comisin-de-la-asamblea-general-de-la-organizacin-de-naciones-unidas_30035758571_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_23325186515_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-la-oreja-de-van-gogh_9703160052_o img_0569_32242280238_o juan-carlos-arauzo-2-por-la-d-la-lnea-de-la-concepcin-espaa_14029840561_o img_8949_19954763830_o img_5344_33634011173_o 15-de-enero-2016-simulacro-de-rescate-con-helicpteros-merlin-mk3-en-gibraltar-05_24315970931_o 10-expo_frontera university-30_39633681121_o 7u3a0061_50032953292_o Juan-Carlos-Teuma-y-George-Valarino-de-la-GBC-llegaron-muy-cerca-de-la-verja-desafiando-a-la-policia-espanola.-Fotografia-expuesta-en-‘Closure. 2g9a3995_49336228918_o 7u3a5260_49336913092_o 2g9a1967_49049024396_o Cuevas-de-San-Miguel-3 commonwealth-park-9_38925455484_o 23-jun-2019-blogueros-espaoles-de-viajes-visitan-el-pen_48131067266_o 2g9a2160_48705914583_o 2g9a4504_48713812218_o 2g9a5901_48204604836_o 2g9a4539_48714142791_o 23-jun-2019-blogueros-espaoles-de-viajes-visitan-el-pen_48131160582_o img_3931-1_45831050101_o img_9586_44881500081_o img_9171_37650531664_o_37651613904_o rita-ora-at-mtv-presents-gibraltar-calling-2018-day-2-by-ollie-millington-121_43072417720_o 2g9a9407_32228028261_o img_9498_44550410262_o 7-feb-2017-encuentro-entre-fabin-picardo-y-el-alcalde-de-la-lnea-juan-franco_32640325611_o img_0816_39737051875_o 2g9a5895_30999690281_o_31001126671_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354081333_o 2g9a4518_30280742744_o img_2210_36991629332_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_29565277245_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off img_2925_24624583463_o The Gibraltar Music Festival 2g9a0306_26345444944_o img_5982_25910379641_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-54_9291887936_o cctel-tras-la-conferencia_21235700638_o Gibraltar celebrates 75 years since Evacuation FX180242 customs-5-aduanas_48859710521_o
