21-agosto-2014-colas-de-entrada-y-salida-de-gibraltar30_14966723276_o elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_23325431485_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. img_3382_34086345302_o 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival43_14464383185_o img_0279_45389528714_o 2013-Ceremony-of-the-Keys-Governor-of-Gibraltar img_9354_43202804944_o regiment-freedom-of-city-0193_15253201129_o img_0491_32242285488_o img_0664_21409893809_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-1-the-sweet-canary-ensemble-45_9222695543_o img_0685_21410198539_o img_6592_34732164413_o strongmen-201378_10018973993_o portaaviones-hms-queen-elizabeth-llegando-a-gibraltar-imagen-tomada-desde-uno-de-los-buques-de-apoyo-via-royal-navy-20_40133898262_o img_4197_20920904089_o The Anniversary of The Battle Of Trafalgar, An act of remembrance held within The Trafalgar Cemetery Gibraltar, Sunday 18th October 2015.VIP's included Interim Governor, Chief Minister, 2nd Sea Lord and CBF.
