A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival23_14463271234_o 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival28_14277810418_o puerta-en-la-librera-garrison_17682912371_o intercambio-cultural-entre-gibraltar-y-cdiz_42848301502_o regiment-freedom-of-city-0193_15253201129_o img_9832_21441995306_o 2g9a0701_48806100076_o untitled_panorama1_21605663041_o 5-expo_frontera sebastian-coe-en-gibraltar_38976531205_o 2g9a2005_49049016151_o img_8926_39603826862_o evacuation-monument-0483_27856104469_o P1080662 Teleferico-Parte-Alta-del-Penon-10 panorama-10_24765449147_o 23-jun-2019-blogueros-espaoles-de-viajes-visitan-el-pen_48131073431_o 2g9a4739_48717726667_o sdr 2g9a2052_48706413262_o img_8657_26036947758_o img_9530_42792483300_o 6-enero-2016-cabalgata-reyes-magos-gibraltar-ii-67_32102432316_o 2g9a5855_32763867165_o 17-feb-2017-visita-a-gibraltar-del-alcalde-de-chiclana-jos-mara-romn-y-rueda-de-prensa-con-fabin-picardo_32368145225_o 2g9a5370_22783253988_o 2g9a9542_28856818034_o 18-jun-2016-noche-de-la-calentita-en-gibraltar_27799750786_o 10-feb-2016-celebracin-en-gibraltar-del-ao-nuevo-chino-2_24941103815_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off lanzamiento-de-la-campaa-gibraltar-stronger-in-europe_25784870443_o Chief Rabbi of Commonwealth at Jews Gate Cemetery opening img_1365_24682305900_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_23870187003_o 2015_09_14__0216_20800991664_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_24201463620_o 9-septiembre-15-national-day-2015-25_21112598630_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
