This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. 160421 - Inauguración de la nueva marina en Gibraltar para barcos pequeños 15-de-abril-2016-jardines-de-la-alameda-de-gibraltar-10_26440899855_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. 2g9a9864_48907305153_o img_5341_34402437506_o inauguracin-exposicin-vctor-quintanilla-en-gibraltar_25248540973_o 2020-Definitive-2020 img_9970_21441824476_o cervantes-09 2g9a0746_48806237327_o strongmen-201352_10019084166_o 2g9a0901_48806236947_o img_4121_21276200800_o 7u3a9673_49900812751_o 2g9a3971_49336914702_o 2g9a1971_49048524188_o 7u3a5269_49336695326_o Monos-en-la-ciudad-36 Alameda-29 P1080601 img_3892_48699660516_o 2g9a6750-copy_48204160647_o img_4007-1_44014411210_o img_2369_26972664768_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-110_29314615090_o 23-feb-2018-encuentro-entre-fabin-picardo-e-izquierda-unida-8_40438424681_o 24-sep-2016-toma-de-posesin-de-carmelo-zammit-del-cargo-de-obispo-de-gibraltar_29845564232_o img_3780_36765414540_o 2g9a9306_29373760242_o 04-sep-2016-gibraltar-music-festival_28941944073_o 2-jun-2016-salvas-en-gibraltar-honor-al-aniversario-de-coronacin-de-la-reina_27417184165_o img_5194_29370588522_o tom-lackey-acrobata-aereo-de-94-anos-en-gibraltar-10102014-27_15329345269_o The Gibraltar Music Festival The Gibraltar Music Festival investidura-adolfo-canepa-como-nuevo-alcalde08_13581144345_o 2g9a9952_27596513210_o img_2727_24625357453_o 2g9a2133_26635255174_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_23868812954_o ceremonia-75-anos-evacuacion-gibraltar-22052015-06_17995951681_o 1719-agosto-2015-celebracin-del-centenario-del-nacimiento-de-sir-joshua-hassan_20520678668_o Kingston-19 gibraltar-evacuation-dsc_3589_17818054389_o g_0205_19691094263_o Condesa-de-Wessex-Gobernador-Steel-Conde-de-Wessex-Ministro-Principal-Justine-Picardo-y-la-nina-Molly-Peach Main-Street-Condes-de-Wessex-en-su-paseo-por-la-Calle-Real-2
