A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. 2g9a9406_48907561603_o 20150911_151612083_ios_22122859563_o 4-oct-2017-cm-y-representantes-de-gibraltar-en-cuarta-comisin-de-naciones-unidas-3_37398299050_o cola-entrada-a-gibraltar-28072015-17_19903012509_o COLA GIBRALTAR gibraltar-music-festival-2013-publico-y-ambiente_9699818209_o elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_23029341790_o 19-junio-gibraltar-world-music-festival06_14441411796_o elecciones-generales-gibraltar-26-de-noviembre-de-2015_23325344425_o 3-de-septiembre-de-2016-gibraltar-music-festival-78_28818128713_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 img_0429_45202145845_o img_5263_34402478076_o img_9984_43202788354_o 2015-Gibraltar-Fire-Rescue-Service-150th-Anniversary la-galera-gustavo-bacarisas-de-gibraltar-acoge-las-obras-realizadas-durante-los-talleres-de-verano-del-servicio-de-trastornos-del-aprendizaje_24460201446_o sk-slovan-bratislava-europa-fc-gibraltar-09072015-15_19570563535_o 17-febrero-2016-exposicin-gibraltar-y-la-guerra-civil-espaola-38_25088640615_o visita-platini-gibraltar-rock-cup-2014-31_14173780663_o 7u3a5760_49425344513_o Trafalgar-10 Alameda-6 WP_20140510_045 img_5335_48919602611_o img_2931_44603393641_o 7U3A2465 img_1049_36646546305_o img_3204_40895454322_o img_3344_40895441202_o CM & Franco Visit Frontier Exhibition 060619 { seq} ( Photo John Bugeja) at the JMHall img_8825_38334285862_o 05-mayo-17-visita-claire-moody-3_34309881912_o img_9449_35393031003_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-4_29605162765_o img_9523_35361469934_o 11-november-2016-98-ceremonia-del-da-del-armisticio-en-gibraltar-32_30880582466_o img_9617_25953976664_o 2g9a1705_26964555830_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 2g9a2045_27144776012_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off visita-del-ministro-principal-a-cdiz_26457514381_o simulacro-accidente-aereo-en-gibraltar-03122014-08_15757896669_o img_3958_20437493264_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
