160421 - Inauguración de la nueva marina en Gibraltar para barcos pequeños 9-de-diciembre-de-2015-ceremonia-inaugural-del-nuevo-parlamento-de-gibraltar_23338413420_o Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - (Both Joe Bossano for GSLP/Libs and Kim Karnani Santos attended Line Wall Road where tensions were high at one point this morning). Police were today requested to make their presence known at the polling station by Line Wall Road after GSD activists handing leaflets outside the polling station are alleged to have made complaints over the use of the language used by a GSLP/Liberal activist handing leaflets to voters of Moroccan origins.According to reports received by Core Photography the GSD activists complained that the use of the native Moroccan language should not be allowed by those guiding voters outside the polling station, claiming the "official language in Gibraltar is English," according to witnesses present during the incident. This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. 9-de-diciembre-de-2015-ceremonia-inaugural-del-nuevo-parlamento-de-gibraltar_23551695861_o cola-salida-gibraltar-2511201407_15880512681_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 la-galera-gustavo-bacarisas-de-gibraltar-acoge-las-obras-realizadas-durante-los-talleres-de-verano-del-servicio-de-trastornos-del-aprendizaje_24460200076_o img_2580_44839790064_o 2017-Accession-65th-Anniversary-Sapphire-Jubilee-set visita-platini-gibralar-rock-cup-2014-34_14150427661_o tradewise-chess-festival-entrevistas-y-ambiente21_12249491304_o strongmen-201331_10019222746_o 2g9a9782_50032155663_o 7u3a5745_49425344708_o 7u3a5069_49336225053_o Punta-Europa-29 panorama-18_24765528797_o img_4989_48919806107_o img_9296_29944470397_o img_8935_24493372478_o_38310548226_o img_8011_42792487080_o img_9888_36433409386_o img_9588_35393036443_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-5_29314691600_o img_2129_37163072715_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-67_25326919029_o 2g9a4551_30827342901_o 2g9a4564_30827339181_o 8-noviembre-2016-premios-certamen-internacional-de-arte-de-gibraltar-10_30578376610_o 24-sep-2016-toma-de-posesin-de-carmelo-zammit-del-cargo-de-obispo-de-gibraltar_29959237725_o img_5058_28856409474_o img_9567_25954040274_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off 2g9a9349_27262518223_o Chief Rabbi of Commonwealth at Jews Gate Cemetery opening 2g9a9451_27839935466_o flashmob-sunborn-gibraltar-1411201422_15813421055_o img_4472_25643187915_o img_4486_25347513290_o img_2495_24464382893_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
