This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. restauracin-cementerio-witham-8_24850848543_o 15-de-abril-2016-jardines-de-la-alameda-de-gibraltar-34_26414924386_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - As Gibraltar woke up for work, John Macintosh Hall closed the count to the general election placing the GSLP/Liberal Alliance as the party to form Government. With an overall mayority 68.03% against the GSD's 31.37, the GSLP/Liberals recorded an overwhelming victory which once again sees Fabian Picardo as the Chief Minister of Gibraltar. The results were: -PICARDO, Fabian Raymond 10852 GARCIA, Joseph John 10661 CORTES, John Emmanuel 10529 LICUDI, Gilbert Horace 10379 ISOLA , Albert Joseph 10313 COSTA, Neil Francis 10048 SACRAMENTO, Samantha Jane 9822 LINARES, Steven Ernest 9690BALBAN, Paul John 9511 BOSSANO, Joseph John 9145FEETHAM, Daniel Anthony 5054 HASSAN NAHON, Marlene Dinah Esther 4892 PHILLIPS, Elliott John 4784 REYES, Edwin Joseph 4766 CLINTON, Roy Mark 4733 HAMMOND, Trevor Nicholas 4578LLAMAS, Lawrence Francis 4565 VASQUEZ, Robert Michael 4535 WHITE, Christopher George 4324 KARNANI-SANTOS, Kim Sylvia 4314 turismo-en-gibraltar-092015-668_22122314643_o el-telefrico-o-cablecar-es-la-forma-ms-cmoda-de-subir-a-la-parte-alta-del-pen-de-gibraltar_22713622466_o 9-de-diciembre-de-2015-ceremonia-inaugural-del-nuevo-parlamento-de-gibraltar_23608026966_o img_3745_34086394672_o img_3762_34086390502_o ii-festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar02_10382459826_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-1-en-chordais-04_9225433570_o img_8776_20115367256_o img_6605_35154402070_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off img_4294_20919503050_o 2018-65th-Anniversary-of-the-Coronation 2g9a8817_48826622181_o 2g9a0291_48801281146_o frontier-0428_25762635998_o 2g9a0878_48806100496_o Monos-en-la-ciudad-28 2g9a0895_48805746648_o panorama-13_24765595827_o Teleferico-Parte-Alta-del-Penon-33 img_5413_48919603191_o img_9454_44600536421_o img_8791_38334295032_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-160_24674706348_o untitpanorama1_36623856830_o 15-diciembre-2016-inauguracin-de-la-restauracin-de-wellingtong-front-38_31531498722_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354045713_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36978705376_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-11_29605076135_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36978708676_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-106_29314618210_o 7-feb-2017-encuentro-entre-fabin-picardo-y-el-alcalde-de-la-lnea-juan-franco_31920712624_o 2g9a5359_30961818615_o 24-sep-2016-toma-de-posesin-de-carmelo-zammit-del-cargo-de-obispo-de-gibraltar_29959239125_o 10-may-2014-relevo-del-bastn-de-la-reina-de-los-juegos-de-la-commonwealth01_14164440701_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. img_2937_25133087142_o img_9228_25955130244_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_24497014375_o img_3787_20301854944_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
