This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. 2g9a9381_48908090906_o 2g9a9910_48908041457_o Gibraltar - 27th November 2015 - With security around John Macintosh Hall tightened, the first ballot box surprised everyone arriving dead on 10pm, the time polling stations were supposed to close their doors. A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. el-telefrico-o-cablecar-es-la-forma-ms-cmoda-de-alcanzar-la-parte-alta-del-pen_22713559476_o los-escalones-del-mediterrneo-suben-desde-la-ciudad-a-lo-ms-alto-del-pen-de-gibraltar_22713647666_o colas-frontera-diciembre07_12348798093_o img_4821_41863367941_o gibraltar-music-festival-2013-level-42_9699889619_o 19-mayo-gibraltar-world-music-festival38_14461032581_o foot-16_17680442682_o 29-mayo-inauguracin-xvii-juegos-del-estrecho04_14125139210_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions MM180007 open-tradewise-de-ajedrez-de-gibraltar_16386704615_o 2g9a0346_48801281511_o img_9639_40316205610_o commonwealth-park-4_38925449814_o ragged-staff-3_27855460529_o img_2348_44585500582_o img_2036_36833066376_o unled_panorama1_36832819316_o img_0507_36479615025_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354077163_o 7-feb-2017-encuentro-entre-fabin-picardo-y-el-alcalde-de-la-lnea-juan-franco_31949828963_o img_2184_36326672184_o 160910-national-day-gibraltar-2016-48_28979565164_o 12-de-noviembre-de-2016-visita-del-ministro-licudi-al-mein-schiff-19_30846363672_o 12-de-noviembre-de-2016-visita-del-ministro-licudi-al-mein-schiff-45_22784330398_o 02-mar-2016-inauguracin-omisara-de-polica-de-casemates_25197190110_o 09-feb-2016-simulacro-de-incidente-en-el-aeropuerto-de-gibraltar_24286855584_o concierto-evacuados-de-gibraltar-07092015-1bn_20617801463_o 5-enero-2014-cabalgata-de-reyes-gibraltar-14_16196154626_o Gibraltar Music Festival Sets off tom-lackey-acrobata-aereo-de-94-anos-en-gibraltar-10102014-10_15516255125_o tom-lackey-acrobata-aereo-de-94-anos-en-gibraltar-10102014-12_15329665857_o 2g9a2133_26635255174_o 10-may-2014-relevo-del-bastn-de-la-reina-de-los-juegos-de-la-commonwealth19_14167741955_o img_2767_24621603834_o lanzamiento-de-la-campaa-gibraltar-stronger-in-europe_26321399981_o gibraltar-national-day_037_9719726094_o 1919-agosto-2015-celebracin-del-centenario-del-nacimiento-de-sir-joshua-hassan_20087731793_o img_8169_21111444359_o 2419-agosto-2015-celebracin-del-centenario-del-nacimiento-de-sir-joshua-hassan_20520677090_o Portaaviones HMS Queen Elizabeth en Gibraltar Gibraltar, 25 septiembre 2013.
