A stream of ballot boxes then arrived as GBC announced the results of their exit poll putting the GSLP/Liberal Alliance ahead with 72%. As counting started by midnight candidates started to arrive at John Macintosh Hall where the count is taking place. One of the first candidates to arrive was John Cortes, followed by Edwin Reyes. Moments later Joseph Garcia, Gilbert Licudi, Albert Isola and Steven Linares arrived to a somewhat quite JHM as counting started. The verification count was overseen by agents of both parties, with the Governor Alison Macmilan also visiting JMH to oversee the protocols being followed, as is traditional during general elections in Gibraltar.John Macintosh Hall also saw tonight armed patrols present around the area, in keeping with the high security alert status presently experienced in Gibraltar. The security detail deployed included the presence of an inspector within the armed response detail, this being one of the few occassions in which a high ranking officer has been seen present as part of the unit when in public. Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - The voting boxes arrived at the polling stations early this morning as Gibraltar prepared to start voting for its new government. Escorted by the Royal Gibraltar Police civil servants manning the polling stations, along with witnesses will now seal the boxes before the doors opened at 9am.RGP officers were at the polling stations since early morning searching and securing all stations before the ballot boxes arrivedTwo main parties are running for election, the GSLP/Liberals led by Fabian Picardo and the GSD led by Daniel Feetham. img_0330_45202120175_o presentacin-libro-yanitos-tllez12_12102559006_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions img_9040_20134606862_o img_5310_34443987835_o img_6693_35154397740_o 1889-Sello-Gibraltar-Pesetas img_2746_44839802184_o 2g9a3036_49093921178_o 2g9a0372_48801428312_o 7u3a5069_49336225053_o 2g9a0381_48801428202_o 2g9a2576_49085939373_o 2g9a0974_48805746868_o 7u3a5258_49336693586_o img_3955_48699830482_o img_4080_48699660251_o 2g9a6810_48204117117_o 2g9a4556_48713813018_o img_5350_48919810302_o img_0144_40383718240_o img_9538_44550414632_o 2g9a9443_32228022401_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-107_38515438592_o 2g9a4509_30798995482_o 2g9a4531_30798994232_o visita-oficial-del-gobernador-al-puerto-de-gibraltar_25881620910_o visita-oficial-del-gobernador-al-puerto-de-gibraltar_26154508205_o 10-feb-2016-celebracin-en-gibraltar-del-ao-nuevo-chino-33_24310522334_o The Gibraltar Music Festival 24-jun-2016-comparecencia-de-fabin-picardo-en-el-parlamento-de-gibraltar-tras-referndum-permanencia-ru-en-ue-10_27802395451_o 5-septiembre-2015-gibraltar-music-festival-2015-04_21161088496_o tom-lackey-acrobata-aereo-de-94-anos-en-gibraltar-10102014-18_15515854302_o img_2904_25158506311_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-51_9289125607_o gobernador-de-gibraltar-edward-davis_24201455160_o gibraltar-300-aos-de-utrecht-1372013-54_9291887936_o 2015_09_14__0046_20801316094_o Gibraltar -28th September 2015 - The Governor of Gibraltar today departed From office bidding Farewell to politicians and the armed Forces in what ended up to be a low Key ceremony.
