This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. 25-noviember-2014-cola-de-salida-gibraltar-03_15695202410_o img_3989_16074275028_o img_4010_16259926531_o img_4853_41820471262_o ii-festival-internacional-de-jazz-gibraltar25_10382639363_o presentacin-libro-yanitos-tllez11_12102177483_o gibraltar-world-music-festival-dia-1-the-sweet-canary-ensemble-36_9222684651_o 7u3a9425_49597579181_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions concierto-andrea-bocelli_48720545263_o la-galera-gustavo-bacarisas-de-gibraltar-acoge-las-obras-realizadas-durante-los-talleres-de-verano-del-servicio-de-trastornos-del-aprendizaje_24460205286_o strongmen-201311_10019330075_o img_9775_21281337969_o 7u3a5753_49425351728_o 2g9a0335_48800935673_o 7u3a5234_49336695886_o american-war-memorial-7762_27855778229_o lighthouse_25761731128_o 2g9a5937_48204654177_o 2g9a8348_32759670828_o 2g9a4510_48713812008_o img_1668_43916353844_o 25-abr-2019-visita-fabin-picardo-al-ies-virgen-de-la-esperanza-de-la-lnea-23_33820114398_o img_2320_44635535101_o 16-a-19-nov-2017-festival-internacional-de-literatura-gibunco-de-gibraltar-96_26771252499_o img_0761_39737057655_o img_8743_25038458137_o 15-diciembre-2016-inauguracin-de-la-restauracin-de-wellingtong-front-43_31531497842_o 14-diciembre-2016-gbc-open-day-maratn-benfico-17_30801727314_o img_0190_36311391842_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354063863_o 2g9a5851_30746109900_o_31001127121_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36996842312_o 24-sep-2016-toma-de-posesin-de-carmelo-zammit-del-cargo-de-obispo-de-gibraltar_29959239125_o img_2113_36765420450_o Escala-inaugural-del-crucero-Ovation-of-the-Seas-92 concierto-evacuados-de-gibraltar-07092015-60bn_21228477932_o lanzamiento-de-la-campaa-gibraltar-stronger-in-europe_26387567785_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home.
