This resulted in tensions between the activists. Police were present to calm down the situation which has been played down as a minor incident. Executive members of the GSD approached over the incident have indicated that they were not at the time aware of such an incident, but have indicated that they would not support such actions and would be looking into the matter. No further known incidents have been reported throughout the day.Voting has been steady throughout the day, with politicians attending the polling stations throughout the morning as voters queue up to vote. The Commissioner of Police has attended polling stations to oversee security in person. el-castillo-moro-en-la-ladera-del-pen-de-gibraltar_22116965394_o img_3317_33432746753_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions img_5200_34313396761_o Gibraltar Music Festival 2015 Sunday sessions img_2618_44650700265_o regiment-freedom-of-city-0114-bw_15253400557_o Gibraltar - Preparations for Operation Sea Snake start at Eastern beach with tanks 2g9a4960_48874427718_o 2g9a0245_48801426137_o strongmen-201377_10018902636_o 2g9a0352_48800932988_o img_9436_27252737687_o 7u3a9566_49901122137_o 7u3a5227_49336913712_o img_4502_48826817602_o 7u3a5311_49336695611_o Monos-35 Alameda-23 Mezquita-2 img_9948_42190717681_o 25-abr-2019-visita-fabin-picardo-al-ies-virgen-de-la-esperanza-de-la-lnea-26_33820114238_o img_7234_34776978685_o stormzy-at-mtv-presents-gibraltar-calling-2018-day-2-by-ollie-millington-6_44163867514_o 05-mayo-17-visita-claire-moody-14_33659896683_o img_8076_44603355741_o 13-noviembre-2016-da-del-recuerdo-en-gibraltar-78_30927239056_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_36354088403_o 2g9a4659_30827325321_o 10-sep-2017-national-day-de-gibraltar_37026145091_o 10-feb-2016-celebracin-en-gibraltar-del-ao-nuevo-chino-42_24314267883_o Gibraltar - 7th September 2015 - Gibraltar celebrated its first official Evacuation Commemoration Day with a concert hosted by the government of Gibraltar for some 800 evacuee survivors from the Second World War. The concert was held at the Victoria Stadium using the same stages and facilities used the day earlier by the Gibraltar Music Festival.Evacuation Commemoration Day was officially introduced earlier this year after Gibraltar celebrated 75 years since the whole of the Gibraltar population was evacuated during the second World War. Many of the Gibraltarians were taken to London where some died during the London blitz. Whilst most stayed in London, others were taken to Northern Ireland, Madiera and Jamacia. It was only a confrontation between population leaders that Gibraltarians were allowed back on the Rock after British officials had initially refused to return the population back to its rightful home. simulacro-accidente-aereo-en-gibraltar-03122014-21_15918115396_o 8-de-marzo-2016-reunin-de-fabin-picardo-con-miembros-del-psoe-07_24986639884_o 2015_09_14__0076_21413041812_o img_8567_21134726509_o 20-de-agosto-2015-celebraciones-aniversario-sir-joshua-hassan-mar-del-sur-24_20569971310_o 75-years-gibraltar-honouring-generation-16_17560895805_o 3819-agosto-2015-celebracin-del-centenario-del-nacimiento-de-sir-joshua-hassan_20520659858_o 10-septiembre-2014-national-day39_15014931538_o gibraltar-evacuation-dsc_3650_17818045909_o 001_20286091096_o BP200031 THE EARL OF WESSEX VISITS HER MAJESTY’S NAVAL BASE
